Walt Disney’s birthday, too. Your birth-month—February, right? I wish! I love the winters!
They say everyone was mad with heat on the day I was born. No wonder I hate summers.
I also like winter, but unfortunately, my birthday is in summer...
February 18.

The Aussie winters are awesome. Not something that puts you totally out of comfort zone and something that lasts for a good 6 month or so. Today also it was pretty cold in Melbourne.
Your birthday is in summer but good thing about Australian summer is that it doesn't last for a very long time and even during 3 months period frequent rainfall gives temporary reliefs all through.
My birthday is in June. I still call it summer even if I have been living in Australia for last 4 years. Because major part of my life I lived in the northern hemisphere.

Australian winters have been known to be warmer than summer in some countries... Especially in recent years.
The Australian summer may not have started yet, but I've already used the air conditioner a few times in the last couple of weeks. However, it's a cooler day today.
And as for frequent rainfall... I've never seen it. I live in the driest state on the driest continent. And we've had sweet fuck all when it comes to rain lately.

ah.....I can understand that. I live in Melbourne which experiences lots of frequent rainfalls all through the year and is a bit colder than places like Sydney and Adelaide.
I wonder how different it would be to live in the interior parts. Perhaps I should tour around more.

I live in rural SA, but for much warmer weather all the year round, head north.
