I posted something on the Politics board @ thread "Testimony Report on Ford - she lied... A LOT". Strikethrough lines were added by the site for about half of what I wrote, and I can't delete and re-enter the ruined words without the lines showing up automatically. Please fix ASAP.

You can fix it yourself.
Edit your post, switch to BBCode, and on the line that reads "MITCHELL (accidentally talking over Ford's next word)" remove the brackets surrounding the "s" at the end of "word" and replace them with parentheses.

Thanks for your input. I found a workaround - sort of; I lost the quote I was responding to in the process. But the site still needs to deal with their programming glitch that causes brackets around one letter to result in wholesale striking-over of lines and lines of someone's post - and does it only *after* they've hit the "create post" button! Very unnecessary, and disruptive to say the least.

Very unnecessary, and disruptive to say the least. It's not a glitch-- it's a formatting rule. When you use an "s" surrounded by brackets, it denotes that you want to use strike-through until a "/s" surrounded by brackets; much like an "i" surrounded by brackets denotes italics or a "b" means bold. I.E.: [s]This will be striked through.[/s] This won't.
Everything after the "s" in word[s] will be striked through, the s and brackets will be removed, and it will continue striking through all other paragraphs until the end of the message. So just keep that in mind for future posts.
