Your defensive passive aggression is something. I'm not remotely attacking you or your opinion. I am passive on this. I don't care at all.

This is actually getting made? I thought it had been cancelled again. No director/cast has even been announced. Is this some kind of secret project or what?
Anyways, I hope it turns out good. I don't see it topping part IV though.

He should have kept the long hair. Always felt like that was a staple of his character. Hope it's as violent as the last one.

This character was played out after Rambo II.
Rambo (2008) was a specifically dull affair.

So is this going to be like a western? Has Stallone ever been in any westerns? Rhinestone doesn't count.

Not a bad idea for a movie, though. Especially if the year is 2008 and it hasn't been done yet. I think jamesavalon means that turning Rambo into a neo-western sounds like an interesting idea.

Stallone has been doing a lot of sequels in recent years - Escape Plan 2, Creed II, Expendables sequels, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, now Rambo V, etc. What was the last non-franchise film that he did? Bullet to the Head?

Should have ended it with the 4th.
Or just have him fight zombies or Jason Vorhees.

Does anybody here know who is Playing the Main Villain in "RAMBO V" ?
I myself would love to see it be either Antonio Banderas or Danny Trejo.

As a Stallone fan, I'm definitely going to see it if it's made. Although...
An odd thing about the series is that apart from "First Blood" (which is the best one by far), they didn't put a definitive face on the villain. I don't mind Rambo going on a one man mission, but without a compelling villain (like Brian Dennehey in "First Blood") rather than an organization, army, country, faction, etc...it sort of reduces the humanity and the ability to relate to the Rambo character. Maybe it's just me.
The best comparison I can think of is Bond films. The villains are usually always fleshed out, have a face/personality, and are often just as important as Bond himself. Ironically, Stallone's "Rocky" series does this very well.
A post above mentioned Benicio Del Toro. That would be awesome. Much better than Rambo just mowing down characters we don't get to really know.
