And while the Commentary is being prepared -- a little light entertainment from the Haines Sisters who inspired our theme song:
Take it away, girls.
(wait a minute -- that's not Rosemary and Vera-Ellen!)

I finally got a day off that was in sync with a Garth Game but was in and out doing dreadful errands. It was pure luck to get back just as the Bonus Round launched. It's great to be back in the DDC. Hair of the dog, Lloyd. Thank you so much for the Game, Matt. BTW, I just realized that in less than 20 years, Sissy Spacek went from playing Piper Laurie's teen daughter to playing her elderly sister. That's Hollywood for you.

Next year Sissy will appear in a new film in which she plays Piper's mother.

And on Sunday -- you will have the opportunity to double that score, Tele.

Question Matt: Why do you think that Olivia de Havilland and William Lundigan we’re NOT siblings in SANTA FE TRAIL? For one very good reason that is irrefutable, Linda: it's called a 'Garth Gaffe." (DODGE was more memorable because Errol has to shoot Livvie's brother)

neurosturgeonDon't make the same mistake I did in the beginning, an answer might be right but uncorrect in this game, because it all have to add up, NTA means not the answer here, not that you gave a wrong answer, but it was wrong in this certain quiz. Shows the possibility factor of an answer just kidding, I have no idea what that calculates

Fortunately, Tele -- Linda came right back with the alternate right answer ... so no harm, no foul.

teleadmThat is the formula mattgarth uses for calculating the angle of the turn he makes when a Gaffe is discovered … he RARELY has to use it and that's why it is written down and kept in a (no-longer) hidden location.

teleadm you found that formula on one of your "clean-up days" as an intern, yes ? I found it and didn't know what it was at the time so left it there .. noticed it was gone the last time I cleaned under the rug. Only the QM gets to use It anyway … rather like the key to the DDC fridge where the strawberries are stored.
