That lazy bloody dog needs to pull its finger out and start taking an interest in what's going on, or before it knows what's what, it'll be going to "live on a farm" in the countryside...

The excitement never ends. LOL, when you have OCD, this is as good as it gets! Light and power switches... Switch on and off 5 times with 5 audible and distinctive clicks.
Doors and windows closed with a decisive and final click.
Shuts doors tested with 3 or 5 decisive taps with the elbow, producing a good, solid, sharp tap.
And so on and so forth...

Well... KEEP GOING! I would place furniture, TVs, VCRs, Playstations and so forth, using a measuring tape and blu tack. However, eventually I became so good at it, I could usually do it by instinct alone.
I could guide you around my flat and you could point to any cupboard or drawer and I could tell you what was in it and where each item was positioned within, without opening it up to see.
I've never liked having more than one visitor - or even one - in my home at any given time. I also own possessions - books, DVDs, toys and so forth - that no other person will ever touch until after I'm dead...
But it's not like I'm weird or anything...

Okay, you qualify... we could live next door to each other and wave from time to time!

Okay, you qualify... we could live next door to each other and wave from time to time! Provided we followed a strict pattern of behaviour and specific times of the day.
Over the years, I've managed to "ween" myself off of the worse excesses of that type of behaviour. Although I still don't enjoy having anyone else in my home and if anyone made the mistake of touching my stuff, they'd soon join all those door-to-door salesmen in my backyard...
However, I'm much more relaxed now that I live alone. Life used to be much more... stressful.

If I can just point out, the phrase is actually “the quick, brown fox jumps over the lazy dog” — that way you employ every letter in the alphabet.

OMG, put me in proofreader's prison, I cannot believe I made that mistake! Over and over and over... Time to edit! Edit: Whew, I fixed every last one of them in the OP! I can sleep well tonight...

I'll teach you guys a trick. You can use a bit of CSS (a method of styling web-pages) in your posts to change certain aspects. For instance, the maximum size of a font using the drop down is this: My text.If we switch to BBCode, it looks like this: [font size="7" face="Felipa"]My text.[/font] But we can add something to that to change it further using what's known as a style property. Let's say I want it to be a bit larger. I could do this: [font size="7" face="Felipa" style="font-size:100px"]My text.[/font] My text.Or maybe I want the text to be even larger and have a blue drop shadow: [font size="7" face="Felipa" style="font-size:150px; text-shadow:2px 2px 10px #0000ff;"]My text.[/font] My text. There are a lot of things you can do to style your posts the way you'd like using the style property. A reference can be found here: www.w3schools.com/cssref/default.asp Naturally, scripting, animations and the like won't work but you might find it handy from time to time.

That is so very cool, Bartlesby! I can't wait to find an appropriate thing to say that I can apply this to!

Yes, that means you can even use Wingdings. [font style="font-size:50px;font-family:Wingdings;"]My text.[/font] My text. However, it will default to a generic font if the user doesn't have it.

rachelcarson1953You might enjoy this story. Was riding on a bus with some high school students. One was writing 100 times a word he had apparently mis-spelled on a spelling test... he had carefully produced a page that said "BEN-HER" over and over and over !

Now, don't tell me, let me guess - he grew up and one day was elected POTUS in 2016, right?
