deadline.com/2018/10/chris-evans-knives-out-daniel-craig-rian-johnson-captain-america-1202476235/amp/Chris Evans has signed onto Rian Johnson's murder mystery "Knives Out", also starring Daniel Craig. I read somewhere else he also signed onto an Antonio Campos movie with Robert Pattinson as well as a Neil Blomkamp film titled "Greenland". He seems to be signing onto very interesting projects and going the more Robert Pattinson/Kristen Stewart route of doing arthouse and Indie flicks post Major Blockbusters.

I wish he hadn't completely ruled out being Captain America. He was perfect in the part. He was perfect for the part, but I am ok with him moving on if it makes him happy and has him experimenting with roles more. He also wants to go behind the camera more, so good for him. He never took risky roles while playing Caps. I always felt he thought he couldn't cause he has an image as Caps to uphold, so now that its over for him he is taking risky projects and doing what he wants vs. what he feels the public wants. I even remember an article he did a couple of years ago where he spoke about how since being Caps he is very careful and selective with photoshoots he does and him and his manager agreed he shouldn't show too much skin etc. in photos since playing Caps. That role clearly made him feel limited. Thats why since playing Caps you barely see him do anything even shirtless unless its in the film itself, which only happened in the first one. |

I thought that Rian Johnson's Next Project was his " STAR WARS" Trilogy ? Does not mean Rian Johnson is limiting himself to Star Wars... and what trilogy? JJ Abrams worked on the first one and didn't 8 and 9 get filmed back to back? I don't even remember if Johnson did The Last Jedi cause i blocked that film out in my mind. |

After He finished making " THE LAST JEDI" (and way before it even came out in theaters and fans saw it), Kathleen Kennedy gave him a Spinoff " STAR WARS" Trilogy which he could write and direct himself. |

Well that should be interesting considering the fact that Rian Johnson is NOT and Nowhere near as Great as Christopher Nolan is but that's just my own opinion. |
