Wizards come in to Cleveland and torch them. Big game for them at Boston April 5 on the 2nd of a back-to-back.

To be fair, a lot of teams are playing soft defense this year. Pretty much every team aside from the Jazz and the Spurs allows over 100 points per game.
The Cavs may be ranked 22nd but they really don't allow many more points than the teams ahead of them in the rankings. I think teams just don't seem to care about playing defense too much anymore, especially teams that are pretty much destined for the playoffs and a higher seeding like the Cavs and Warriors. They'll probably ramp up the defense once the playoffs start.

IDK, something about Cleveland is wrong.
Lebron has turned into a freaking whiny b*tch this season. Not enough help, my team mates are trash, he isnt giving them much motivation...just taking a piss on them.
BTW IAmrocket, love the avatar, ty for the laugh.

Score 74 and lose by 29 to the Spurs, now 1/2 game behind Boston. Maybe they want a matchup with Indiana.

Ya I'm no Cavs fan (at all) and I despise (yet still very much respect) LeBron, but I feel bad for Cleveland. Their team seems to almost be imploding.
The saving grace for Cavs fans is that they always seem to get their mojo back come playoff time.

Of course you want two...three...hell four or more, but they got what they wanted AND made it to the world series. I dont see the Browns making the playoffs anytime soon (Sorry Cleveland fans!)

Someone on SB Nation suggested that LeBron is wearing down, that the fatigue of playing until the last game of the Finals every year since 2011 is finally catching up to him. However, his offensive numbers don't back that up, even though he is definitely playing less effectively on D. It seems like LeBron's coaches and GMs have never paid all that much attention to defense, as if they simply assume that, because LeBron is on the team, enough points will be scored to render the defense meaningless. After all, the Heat finished in last place in rebounding the year they beat the Spurs.
However, as a Celtics fan, I'm not convinced that LeBron won't crank it up in the playoffs.

Dude, I thought that you were clippers fan? Is my memory that horrible or you support both teams for different reasons?

LeBron says they need more toughness to pull through this.
