Wilford Brimley - John Carpenter's THE THINGTerry O'Quinn - SILVER BULLETFred Willard - SALEM's LOTRon Perlman - SLEEPWALKERSBill Paxton - PREDATOR 2Bill Paxton - ALIENSPaul Reiser - ALIENSPete Postlethwaite - ALIEN 3Kelly Hu - FRIDAY THE 13th: PART VIII - Jason Takes ManhattanDanny Trejo - FROM DUSK TIL DAWNOwen Wilson - ANACONDAJared Leto - URBAN LEGENDSeann William Scott - FINAL DESTINATIONK atee Sackhoff - HALLOWEEN: RESURRECTION
Ron Perlman is a stretch. He was already the lead on the Beauty and the Beast TV series. I'm not quite sure I agree with Leto or Seann William Scott, either. They got more famous later on, but they were already in My So Called Life and American Pie. This was at the height of post-Scream hip casts.

I was going to say something about both of them too, but I don't know how big a character Leto was on the show and if I discounted Seann William Scott I would also have to discount McConaughey because of Dazed and Confused. Ron Perlman on the other hand was already around for 10 years before Sleepwalkers and was the lead in his show.

Leto was the main love interest. And Dazed and Confused (which also featured Zellweger, incidentally) was a relatively small cult movie vs American Pie which was a pop culture and box office juggernaut, so I'd let Matt slide.

The House On Haunted Hill remake has already been mentioned, yet in the 1959 original up and comer Richard Long, pre-Big Valley and Nanny And The Professor, had a key supporting role.
In another William Castle directed horror, 13 Ghosts, Route 66 and Adam 12 star Martin Milner has a featured part.
Raymond Burr was in Bride Of The Gorilla and Godzilla before he became known as TV's Perry Mason
Another top TV name, Richard Boone, headlines the 1958 horror I Bury The Living, and it's worth seeing, too.
Bonanza's "Little Joe" played the lead character in the low budget I Was A Teenage Werewolf before setting out for the Ponderosa.
