Ivan Koloff Andre the Giant Bruno Sammartino Gorilla Monsoon Killer Kowalski nikita > ivan somebody to this day needs to explain the allure of Andre and Bruno. Andre was an attraction because there was no social media back then. Big Show (The Giant) > Andre. For that matter - so were Bam Bam, Vader, Sid, Nash when it comes to big men. I watch old school Philly Spectrum, New York Madison Square Garden and Boston Garden clips of how Bruno tore the house down - this guy doesn't git it - but again - this is when some dolts thought wrestling was real. never saw killer Kowalski. as far as gorilla - didn't he box Ali? and I loved Vader crushing this fat old mummy (RIP)

anybody just see 'fat 'taker' on RAW Clips?
apparently he had a match with Trips in Australia and HBK and Kane got involved.
opening segment of RAW - HBK and Trips broke out DX shirts.
I actually get it - today's product sucks and they need to hold onto the past to hold onto (bring back) viewers.
that being said - 'Taker looked abysmal - like big time beer belly - we've seen him look old and crusty over the years - but I can't recall seeing him 'fat' like Yokozuna.
all he was missing was his Sumo Belt.

I liked the Mongols a lot. Bruno was the champ in the 60s, a good guy, and my grandma in the Bronx's favorite. Never saw Andre at the time, only on clips, and I love him in Princess Bride. Vaguely remember Kowalski, Monsoon, Haystacks Calhoun, Argentina Apollo, Cerdan, Albano. Tanaka. Steele, Bobo Brazil, Morales, Ladd, Carnera, Verdu, Stasniak. So trying to fill the list was tough.

They've been rewatching WCW 99 on f4w and Bryan Alvarez always talks about how great Sid is as a character and regularly asks "why the hell was this guy voted worst on promos?" Couldn't agree with him more. Starrcade shoukd gave been Sid vs Goldberg for the belt. Two best characters on the show.

He's #10 and #1 in this video. I will say Sid definitely looked the part. While I was never really a fan of his he looked scary and intimidating as fuck.

The top 5 is debatable, but #1 has to be Hulk Hogan. Without Hulk Hogan, there's no WrestleMania.

Great topic. Top: 1. Hulk Hogan 2. Ric Flair 3. John Cena 4. The Rock 5. Stone Cold Favorite: 1. Scott Hall 2. Kevin Nash 3. Hollywood Hogan 4. Big Poppa Pump - Scott Steiner 5. Randy Savage - heel Savage - Team Madness with Psycho Sid Did I just read a list that doesn't mention the Undertaker? Are you drunk?
Listen.....Stone Cold and Hulk Hogan may be very famous and loved in America. But none of them can hold a candle to the Undertaker when it comes to outside America. The Undertaker is loves in middle east, India, Africa and all through the world. That makes him the most widely loves wrsetler. he can't be absent from any list.
'loves wrestler' twice? Was I really drunk that day or a typo?
