1) Spielberg's directing is always a joy to watch.
2) Ford is always a joy to watch as Indy.
3) I enjoyed the entire Area 51 sequence. Yes, even the fridge. Using Nuketown (which was an actual thing) was really neat in my opinion.
4) Cate Blanchete was fun as the campy villain
5) Although the story isn't super great, I like the Macguffin choice of the alien skull.

I really don't like the '50s setting and I don't like the Communists as the villains. That's early James Bond territory. Indiana Jones = Nazis James Bond = Communists/Spectre But Indiana Jones was influenced by Bond and we already saw the Nazis in two films, so why not have some new villains?
