Seems a little harsh, I liked it better than most and even what I didn't like, i wasn't made at Lucas for it. As written in the article, this is mainly because that "Lucasfilm being sold to Disney in 2012 is the key change. George Lucas lost any creative control he had at that point." Also it seems that Steven Spielberg has moved onto fasttracking his remake of West Side Story (because fuck me if that is necessary at all).

Indiana Jones 4 was really a Lucas thing and I think he had nothing more to say or do with the franchise after that film and relinquishing control to Disney.

If Disney does to Indy what it did to Star Wars than I don't care one way or another. In fact I think Lucas does a better job of wrecking his creations than anyone else.
A remake of West Side Story? I at least hope they still set it in the 50's otherwise it is going to be one huge gangster rap film.
