So now that Drew Brees holds the yardage and completion records, who do you think are the top 3 quarterbacks of the Super Bowl era? You can pick 3. Use any reasons you like but please, we all know where each other stands over the usual Brady arguments. No need to go there.

Best overall QBs of the Super Bowl era have to be Brady, Manning and Montana. Brees has amazing numbers, but he hasn't won enough or even been to the SB anywhere near as often as my top 3. I know it's a team game, but that matters to me so I had to keep him out of the top 3.

couldn't one argue Aaron Rodgers is a better QB than Brett Favre? i was going to go brady, manning, and got a little trigger happy there with favre - but thought - hmmmmmmmm..... he may not even be the greatest Packer QB of All-Time......... i guess Rodgers, Eli and Rivers fall under 'other'. interesting. interesting indeed - that psychopath who bullies his teammates Rivers isn't on the list - and i get he never won a Super Bowl - but either did Dan Marino. and Eli has 2 - gotta get a little respect and just not be lumped under 'Other' - No?

I'm tempted to pick other because pure talent wise Aaron Rodgers is the best QB I have ever seen play. However I can't justify ranking him ahead of Brady, Montana, or Manning. So Rodgers would be my 4th. If Rodgers wins another ring then he'd likely jump Peyton for me.
After those 4 it becomes a real tough choice to rank guys like Brees, Favre, Young, and Marino.

1. Joe Montana - 4 Super Bowls, all wins, no losses. But what puts Montana head and shoulders above all other QBs is NO TURNOVERS in any Super Bowl, and that was during an era when defenses were still allowed to play defense and still allowed to hit the QB without getting flagged.
2. Peyton Manning - Played in 4 Super Bowls with 4 different head coaches. Only QB to win a Super Bowl with 2 different franchises.
3. Aaron Rodgers - Best QB in the NFL the past 4 seasons.

Use any reasons you like but please, we all know where each other stands over the usual Brady arguments. No need to go there. I think different criteria determine different best quarterbacks. Drew Brees especially when considering statistics. But not Drew Brees when counting championships. Best all around athletes --- Aaron Rodgers. Most championships --- not Aaron Rodgers. Most regular season wins --- Peyton Manning. Most championships --- not. I say most championships are not just determined by best quarterbacks. But best overall teams. I voted other.

News flash, while Eli has 2 rings he has never and I mean NEVER been considered even a top 5 person at his position. Big Ben is just outside of the top 10. Elway being left out is legit. Aikman, meh, he was good for that team. Don't consider him great. Much like Bradshaw. Wilson? He hasn't had the career to come close to this yet. Starr, Namath, Simms? Way before my time so I'm not going to gudge.
