Obi-Wan vs Anakin
I don't like seeing The Emperor or Yoda with lightsabers. I see them as being so powerful with the force that they don't need lightsabers.

In all honesty my interest in the prequel trilogy had long gone by the third film. I really couldn't care less about any of the characters by that point. Yoda and The Emperor had for me long outstayed their welcome. The most memorable bit from the Obi Wan/Annakin fight was the audible laughter in the theatre when Annakin is lying on the floor beaten.

Similar experience for me. After the debacle that was Attack of the Clones I really just saw Revenge of the Sith just to complete the prequel trilogy. I really didn't care anymore. I would have rather seen the Borg drop in and assimilate or destroy the whole Star Wars universe at that point. I feel the same way about the current trilogy. Not sure if I'll see IX in the theaters at this point or not. |

Yoda v Palpatine because it offered new dimensions for a SW duel. We'd seen lightsaber battles before countless times.
The lame dialogue between Anakin & Obi-Wan also make it more forgettable.

Almost a tie, but OBI-WAN vs ANAKIN has more emotional weight as well as a unique setting.

Yoda vs Palpatine fighting thereby destroying the senate is is one of the best allegorical scenes ever. The two ancient powers fighting for supremacy and thereby destroying democracy with thunderous applause. But Anakin vs Obi wan literally fighting in Hell plus the iconic ending of the fight with Anakin burning is pretty impressive filmmaking too.  |

That's a hard one 'cause I liked both but I would say Obi Wan vs Anakin 'cause it was memorable and we got to see how Anakin ended up being burnt and having to wear the Darth Vadar costume. Although I see Darth Vadar's lack of anger when he faces Obi Wan again in 'A New Hope' as a major plot hole 'cause he should despise him for ruining his body and putting him in that costume and there is no anger from him or "you put me in this costume!".
