Now that Alita was delayed, Mortal Engines seems likely.

I suspect Mary Poppins will do well. 5 years ago, Saving Mr Banks made around 70+ million overall at the box office, and that movie was just about the making of Mary Poppins. So, Miss Poppins seems to have a lot of fans.

What is that? A re-release of Deadpool cutting out the "worse" parts, so to speak? I can't imagine it will be a big success

I predict "Aquaman" will tank, he's pretty much always been always been a B-list superhero, it doesn't star a well known bankable star, there was never a successful 90s cartoon to capitalize on Millenial nostalgia, DC tends to fumble the ball quite a bit when it comes to movies

Vice is a huge fail. Who really cares about Dick Cheney anymore? Let the guy retire in peace.

Bolded the ones I can't see being very successful, underlined the ones that I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't do anything.

I don't know about everyone else, like what's going to be a hit and what won't, but The Mule looks like the most interesting of those in my book.
but I kind of assume Aquaman/Bumblebee will be hits because one is super hero and the other is tied to Transformers.

My head wants to tell me Deadpool 2 PG 13. Unless theres some inside joke that will cause this thing to be more than it seems. A rerelease 6 months after its initial release with a toned down pg 13 rating? Who wants to see this? Im a HUGE deadpool fan but this kind of money grab does NOT tickle my fancy.
The other standout is Mortal Engines. I just don't sense any hype about this nor do i see an honest appeal in watching it. Feels like another Valerian City of whatever from last year.

Mortal Engines looks like something that no one has heard of, but a Robert Zemeckis movie with Steve Carrell? That’s just destined to fail.
EDIT: Nevermind, it actually looks pretty decent, but not something successful financially; seems more indie film territory.
Also WTF is the point of rereleasing Deadpool 2 in theatres again in PG-13? Most parents aren’t gonna take their kids anyway because they might not even consider the rerating.

For those who think Second Act will be successful, what makes you think so? When was the last time Jennifer Lopez was in a hit movie let alone a good movie?

The PG-13 version of Deadpool 2. The reason the first movie was a hit was because it wasn't watered down by cutting down on Deadpool's language use.

Vice (brad Pitt and Wil Farrell in true life story about Vice president Dick Chaney) It stars Christian Bale, Amy Adams and Sam Rockwell. Brad Pitt and Will Ferrell have nothing to do with it.

The original movie with Julie Andrews was a classic and it has a lot to live up to but I think it will surprise people.
