So you enjoy crap. And apology accepted. Apparently I do. Thank you for putting me right. You are obviously a very important person with opinions that must respected and adhered to. I accepted your apology, what more do you want?

Coens - pretty consistent 9/10 Tarantino - very hit and miss, often in the same film 6.5/10 Lynch - Blue Velvet is great, everything else sucks 4/10
I agree about Blue Velvet being Lynch's best. It's among my favorite films and I don't like anything else by him nearly as much. Eraserhead is good for what it is, a filmed nightmare, but the imagery is too disgusting for me to want to watch it more than once.
I also agree about Coens being the best of this lot.

jimanchowerYeah, I only mildly like Reservoir Dogs and Jackie Brown is average/forgettable at this point in time. for the record... I used to be a big fan of Reservoir Dogs until a re-watch on April 21st 2016 is when it went from a 9/10 back to it's current 6/10. Jackie Brown was about a 7.5-8/10 and dropped back to a 5/10 on a re-watch on Oct 25th 2014. p.s. here is my very basic rating scale... 5/10 or less = Thumbs Down. 6/10 or higher = Thumbs Up. To me movies are generally not about whether they are predictable or not as like I always say it's not really about doing something new/original but taking a idea that's already been done and doing it well. NOTE: I don't like KB vol 1, only vol 2. Vol 1 = 5/10 (Thumbs Down). Vol 2 = 6.5-7/10. although, for the record... both movies used to be basically top notch for me. like 9/10 range but have since taken a hit as it was Dec 28th 2013 when Vol 2 went from a 9/10 back to a 5/10 and with Vol 1 that went from a 9/10 back to a solid 8/10 on Dec 27th 2013 but dropped off a bit further on Oct 23rd 2016 to it's current 6.5-7/10. so basically Vol 2 is in the bottom area of my Top 190 movies as it's still good enough for me to call a favorite movie but I don't like it as much as I once did.
