I don't feel a connection with your terrible threads. Oddly enough that's how many feel about your threads except that you post even more of them than Martin does and yours very occasionally have a thin veneer of reality to them. |

actually .. yes. Sounds rather like a form of autism ... this lack of connection and bonds. It does kind of sound like autism or Asperger's, even. The only thing that would make me think it's not autism is that people with autism or Asperger's is that I don't believe they are aware that they do not make connections with other people. They just do their thing and go on their merry way. I have a friend who has Asperger's and he is the most clueless person I know. He seems to like everybody and everything and would just as soon strike up a conversation with a rattlesnake. I'm not sure if he has been depressed a day in his life. That doesn't sound like the OP. |

I always find these threads that are more like personal journals a puzzle .. why someone would post this stuff for a community of strangers to read and potentially comment on is beyond me. Way beyond.

And if the OP has a hard time in his non-IMDB life connecting to people, it would be very easy to understand that he would come on here to try and share and connect. Because IMDB is so much easier than real life. And really it is just a matter of degrees, because everybody who posts here is sharing something of themselves. |
