Thanks for the link to the article... I also read the comments too... But, what gets me is, in order to explain the incident, you have to accept that at least more than one thing happened at the same time... And that doesn't include these more supernatural explanations: Bigfoot, Strange Lights. Strange Snow Sounds... Who knows what this means, or how it really affected them... if it actually happened at all. Fire inside the tent... Why run a mile away from it? Blocked Tent Entrance... Why run a mile away from it? Partially burned camp fire after leaving the tent... How did they get it started, and why wasn't it completely burned? Avalanche... So, only a portion of the hikers were hit by the avalanche? Hungry animal eating or person biting off own... tongue... Doesn't explain why everyone left the tent. Receiving High Speed impact injuries... From what, falling into a ravine? Was it a Ravine or Cliff? Those who examined the bodies, seem to suggest it was just a ditch. Irradiated clothing... Why run a mile away from their tent, before taking the clothes off? Not even sure where this one comes in... Weird effects on the body. ...Because, not ONE of those, could have cause it all. And that's where it gets hard to accept. Coincidence? sure, I guess several of these things could have happened at the same time... But, what are the odds of these "particular" things happening all at once? And that is why it is creepy... and still for the most part, why it is still a mystery.

No, the theory of the sounds would account for everything, even the blunt force trauma when panic is factored.

But, what gets me is, in order to explain the incident, you have to accept that at least more than one thing happened at the same time... No, the theory of the sounds would account for everything, even the blunt force trauma when panic is factored. Umm, No... Sounds wouldn't cause people to be irradiated. It's fascinating how people always leave out certain stuff in their debunking theories, which they can't explain. In any case, I have to question the sound theory... Even if it did happen at the tent site, these people ran as far as a mile away. I find it hard to believe the sound would effect them so far away. And I guess the sound just lasted for hours too? If it was so loud and lasted for so long, why does this theory sound like it was, just invented, like no one has ever heard of it before. It sounds exactly like someone is refusing to accept the POSSIBLE paranormal explanations, and are just trying to answer the mystery without any real evidence and is spouting a bunch of technobabble to get people to shut up about "UFOs"... Did you read the comments? I never heard before, that they took a strange photograph of what "appears" to be an assumed Yeti... ...and then one of them wrote in a (diary?) that "Snowmen Are Real". If they didn't have time to put on their clothing, they wouldn't take time to write in a diary...So that entry must have happened earlier. Sounds wouldn't cause this stuff... And it's just another piece of the puzzle making the whole incident even creepier. However, I must admit, that I am skepical about that photograph. It could very well be a man. It looks like he could be wearing a coat, and a ski mask. Maybe the diary entry was a joke... But, with so many odd things that happened to this group, I just seems unlikely they would play a prank, and then all die mysteriously too... These people should have stayed home and played the lottery. The odds would have been better to win big.

Just finished reading about the Monster of Florence case in Italy. Not sure whether if I found the murders or the politics of the crimes scarier.

I think it was a combination of hyperthermia panic and avalanche.

One of the authors was accused of being the Monster of Florence himself because he pissed off the wrong public officials. It's crazy how Italy handles murder investigations.
