What an effort by Mookie on that almost catch. I think it should be a home run, hate to say it.
Ron Darling is wrong, the fan didnt close Mookie's glove.
Sox got the call, Wow!!! Think they got it wrong, but I'll take it.

We love Cowboy Joe!
People might not remember this, but in the "bloody sock" Curt Schilling game, Joe West personally overturned the call on that play where ARod slapped the ball away from Bronson Arroyo. It was originally called a hit and could have been a turning point in the game, but Cowboy Joe called an umpire huddle and they changed the call.
And Cowboy Joe is a tough mutha, he took that throw from the catcher right in the chest and didn't flinch.

This Astros crowd has some golf like reflexes. They seem to only make noise once the ball has stopped moving.

That's more fun in Houston because there's like 5 Hall of Famers sitting there, including Nolan Ryan with his never ending scowl going..... |
