Nowhere near old enough to be classic, but I liked "Shrek" as a kid. Now I consider the film to be an example of the decline of human civilisation. Ugh. This is intriguing. Care to elaborate ?

Sabrina was the first Audrey Hepburn film I saw and is my favorite role of hers, forgot Holly I want to dress up as Sabrina Fairchild in her pencil skirt with the dog on the train station. Then I saw it again a few years later and realized how there isn't much chemistry between her and Bogie in which as a kid it never crossed my mind he was falling in love with her. I think the romance aspect of it doesn't click for me at all then I saw the Harrison Ford version having to admit it's a better version.
Another movie I think I liked was Wuthering Heights. The romance was so tragic and I would sometimes play it to freak my sister out because the cinematography of that film frightened her. Later on I began to get annoyed at the acting style and then reading the book later on makes me hate both Heathcliff and Cathy when I felt sorry for Heathcliff in the film.

It doesn't really happen very often, and usually it is on newer films, not classic-era ones, but Grease (1978) has diminished with time as have The Lion King (1994) and Mulan (1998)

SPEED.
Watched it in 1994. Enjoyed it then as the "thriller" it set out to be even though this never was my favorite type of film..
Cringed at the villainy.
Things blew up. WOW. Great special effects.
Watched it for the second time this week.
Totally different reaction.
Sept 11 has changed it all.
The airport scene was the hardest to watch.
Maybe just me ?

I haven't seen Speed, but I saw The Towering inferno for the first time a week or two ago, and it was uncomfortable to watch some of it due to 9/11.

I loved Madagascar when I saw it in theaters. I hated it when I saw it again at school.
