Raquel has incredible genetic material. She has aged amazingly well and it's no surprise. But if we're going to start finding new dimensions to add to the pot, then how about Cloris would be the most fun to hang out with, no questions asked. Oh I think she's hilarious. And in her younger days I feel like she might have been a beast in bed. That was very perceptive, I think. She just had so much energy. She was (and really, still is) so alive.

Awesome pic! I have always loved that precise moment when Cloris tosses her head back and gives that laugh! It's an image I can never forget and wouldn't want to. Her joy is so infectious. It just makes me smile. Thanks for posting this one!

That's funny. Well, I guess to be more direct, which of these ladies would be most likely to give you a boner? Welch. She STILL gives me boners.

Between Cloris and Raquel as they looked there. They're both stunning in their own way. Maybe Cloris, she'd be in a celebrating mood Yay! One vote for Cloris! I loved her acceptance speech. So bright and carefree. Cloris has so much life in her. That's what I picked up on too.

Do you seriously have to ask? Raquel Welch, morning, noon and night. Yeah, I knew there would be a lot of hot blooded men to pick Raquel Welch. But I had to ask, because even though I'm not straight, there is something so feminine and sexy and radiant about Cloris Leachman here. I think Cloris is extremely attractive in this clip, and, even though Raquel is gorgeous and hot as a pistol, she leaves me cold. Rumor has it that Gene and Cloris hooked up later that night. If so, I say Gene had good taste. Leachman looked absolutely radiant. Not much choice for me though Mr. Dirty, Hackman has never rocked my boat.

I feel her reputation as difficult (bitch) makes her more sexy to me. I've never heard anything about her reputation, one way or the other.

She is the consummate sex pot. Indeed. I am not straight, but it is difficult to refute sexiness and hotness.

She was smitten by Stephen Boyd and made advances to him. It seems he was not interested in her. She alleges that he was gay. Even though he never came out as gay and was married multiple times.
Stephen Boyd was a very good-looking guy. And he was definitely gay. He was interviewed in the movie "Celluloid Closet". Boyd talks about how during the making of "Ben Hur", Charlton Heston had no clue as to the homosexual subtext of the relationship betwen his character and Boyd's. Their scene together is, indeed, very homoerotic. And Boyd made no bones about his sexual preference. He was a dirty exhibitionist, just like you Mr. Dirty.
At any rate, who'd want to get down and dirty with Heston? Never did much for me.

I am not straight, but it is difficult to refute sexiness and hotness. Agreed. A good looking person is a good looking person.
For whatever reason you appreciate them.
However, for me at least, if I know them, their personality does affect my judgement.

Welch was a stunner physically, but she doesn't appear to have the light or joy that beholden Leachman.

I agree entirely. An attractive face and body, male or female, if they have a rotten personality that can do wonders to subdue ones libido.

So what you are saying is just a myth. He gave no such interview. He never even hinted of his "supposed" homosexuality.
Gore Vidal claimed that there was homosexual subtext in the movie. Mr.Heston dismissed Gore Vida's claim. And also said Gore Vidal was exaggerating his part.
"Screen credits for film writing are closely guarded by the Writers' Guild of America, and Vidal was not considered for one in Ben Hur. But he was apparently one of several writers enlisted to massage the script"

I believe there was homosexual subtext. Look at how Boyd is holding the cup and watching Heston. Clearly someone told him to put on an amorous act.
I suspect Raquel has had some "work" done, though in the 2000s she looked younger than her daughter. That was Dorian Gray kind of spooky.
Sharon Stone has a very bad personality from what I hear-then again she also had a nose job. If she had kept her old nose would she have been a nicer person?

Marisa Mell was more his type.

Marisa Mell was more his type. Indeed. He had a very passionate relation with her.
"They married in a gypsy camp on the outskirts of Madrid in late 1971. The ceremony included a wrist cutting exchange of blood to seal their bond." Although the gypsy marriage was not considered legal. They believed they were lovers in previous births too.

Yes, Boyd wasn't interviewed but I think it was one of the screenwriters who was giving the anecdote.
