Yeah, I knew there would be a lot of hot blooded men to pick Raquel Welch. But I had to ask, because even though I'm not straight, there is something so feminine and sexy and radiant about Cloris Leachman here. I think Cloris is extremely attractive in this clip, and, even though Raquel is gorgeous and hot as a pistol, she leaves me cold. Rumor has it that Gene and Cloris hooked up later that night. If so, I say Gene had good taste. Leachman looked absolutely radiant. Not much choice for me though Mr. Dirty, Hackman has never rocked my boat. There is just no other word that fits better than 'radiant'. big yay! Ha Ha! I never thought Gene Hackman was all that when I was younger, but in the past few years, I have begun to look at him with a certain amount of lust. He is utterly masculine. And his face has a kind of plain handsomeness to it. And he also exudes mucho libido. I think this was around the time I first saw "Scarecrow", 1973 with Hackman and Al Pacino. Have you seen this movie, Toasted Cheese? I liked it quite a bit. It ventured some of the same territory as "Midnight Cowboy", though not with the same emotional impact. But Al was cute cute cute in it, and then there was Gene, who was handsome in that Popeye Doyle kind of way. I was absolutely torn as to which brand of "maleness" I preferred. Gene does an impromptu striptease in it that is funny and very sexy.

Stephen Boyd was a very good-looking guy. And he was definitely gay. He was interviewed in the movie "Celluloid Closet". Boyd talks about how during the making of "Ben Hur", Charlton Heston had no clue as to the homosexual subtext of the relationship betwen his character and Boyd's. Their scene together is, indeed, very homoerotic. And Boyd made no bones about his sexual preference. He was a dirty exhibitionist, just like you Mr. Dirty.
At any rate, who'd want to get down and dirty with Heston? Never did much for me.
Was Boyd really an exhibitionist, Mr. Toasty? Or are you just pulling my leg? If he was, then that makes him very sexy in my eyes. As far as Heston goes, God, no. He was not bad-looking and he had a great voice, but he's as sexy as Pat Boone. There's no passion there that I can tell.

You're welcome.
Though I must admit that I'm looking slightly to the right...
Welch was a stunner physically, but she doesn't appear to have the light or joy that beholden Leachman. The light! Yes, the light! Exactly what I am talking about. "Go into the light, Carol Ann!"

Boyd talks about how during the making of "Ben Hur", Charlton Heston had no clue as to the homosexual subtext of the relationship betwen his character and Boyd's. Their scene together is, indeed, very homoerotic. And Boyd made no bones about his sexual preference. Stephen Boyd died in 1977 and Celluloid Closet was made in 1995. So what you are saying is just a myth. He gave no such interview. He never even hinted of his "supposed" homosexuality.
Gore Vidal claimed that there was homosexual subtext in the movie. Mr.Heston dismissed Gore Vida's claim. And also said Gore Vidal was exaggerating his part.
"Screen credits for film writing are closely guarded by the Writers' Guild of America, and Vidal was not considered for one in Ben Hur. But he was apparently one of several writers enlisted to massage the script"
Oh, heck. Maybe I'm getting Heston and Boyd mixed up with Kirk Douglas and Sal Mineo on the set of "Spartacus".

I feel her reputation as difficult (bitch) makes her more sexy to me. I've never heard anything about her reputation, one way or the other. She had that angry look on her face. And I remember her talking about her hot Latin temper. And --- on this very thread, posters are saying she had a reputation for being a bitch.

Just being tongue in cheek Mr. D, due to you exclaiming he made no bones about his homoness.

And, as you'll notice, I've already asked the other poster in question if they could elaborate upon their comment.
I'm still waiting for a reply.

I don't know. But I sure would have liked a chance to find out. She is 78 now. And I am 60. Which means she was 36 when I was 18. I always liked older women.

They also seem to appreciate your efforts more, just in general.
By the way, have you got something in your eye?

This is a general statement. So any young women out there don't be offended . But generally speaking young women operate on, "I look good. Entertain me. And I may let you sleep with me." Generally older women operate on, "I don't need anybody to entertain me. I can entertain myself. I just want somebody who is independent, good company and fun." Add that to more mature, independent, experienced, interesting and knowledgeable, and we can see past the aging imperfections. Or accept them as more attractive. I have slept with many young girls before. That shit gets old after while.

So I'll bear it in mind if I ever come across further stories or tales that back it up.
But at this stage, I'm not yet ready to consider it holy gospel.
