Absolutely gorgeous, in fact, no other woman has ever come close to her inner/outer beauty, but would you please kindly correct the spelling to Gene? Thanks for pointing it out. All fixed.

Love her aloof and cool style. She played many different roles and had the ability to make most of them quite different from each other. Something that many actors especially nowdays just can't do.

Wesley, you didn't mention THE SHANGHAI GESTURE. Me, I would rate that one "Garbage".

Wesley, you didn't mention THE SHANGHAI GESTURE. Me, I would rate that one "Garbage". I only rate films I've seen ... I haven't yet seen The Shanghai Gesture ... It looks like a film I would like ... Gene Tierney, Walter Huston, Victor Mature Thanks for the suggestion ... lol EDIT ... I just found the film ... I'm gonna watch it right now.

I think she was under appreciated.

The too few Gene Tierney movies I've seen with a few personal notes
Heaven Can Wait 1943 such a sweet and wonderful movie. Laura 1944 stunning both in a painting and as Laura. Leave Her to Heaven 1945 fantastic portrait of a psycopathic selfish evil. A row boat sequence is especially riveting. Night and the City 1950 she somehow disappears among the british gangsters. Could be the script. On the Riviera 1951 In the sort of Virginia Mayo role in a Danny Kaye movie, not her cup of tea. The Left Hand of God 1955 good old fashioned colour entertainment. Advise & Consent 1962 a great movie about politics and her first after her breakdown. Scruples 1980 Tv-miniseries and her thank you and goodbye acting performance. She only appears in the first episode of the three.
A note about the movie nobody likes in this thread The Pleasure Seekers 1964, someone at the offices at Twentieth Century Fox found out after her return in Advice & Concent 1962 that she owned them (Fox) one more movie to fulfill her old contract with them (Fox), so she was more or less forced to appear in it or be sued.
