30 pts and 10 reb in just 21 min! Your boy looked great tonight, and he fouled out on an awful call. Indiana could be a real dark horse in the East this year.

Taking on Boston tonight! βοΈΒ Fantastic game tonight as Oladipo stabs the Celtics in their hearts on both sides of the court. Best game I've seen so far this year. This Indiana team is very good, similar to the Celtics. Both teams play good D, have deep benches, and are well coached.

But unless he jacks up a three every time he touches the ball, he might not fit in with the C's. His skill at the high post is the best in a generation. High Post based Os are what repeat champs are made of. John Wooden would have made him a star like Bill Walton, Marques Johnson. Phil Jackson would too with his triangle O, sorta a Kukoc/Pippen. Coach Pop at the Spurs as he is like Tim Duncan but can shoot the 3. that he isnt even starting is insane. when you watch a game watch the ft line area, and how teams skirt that area with side screens and wing passes, total bs. With a guy like Sabonis Jr. you can get him the ball there with the pass and itβs like popping a balloon, as any d just collapses if you have a guy that can score and pass from there.

No one plays mid-range anymore. It's either shooting threes or driving to the hoop. Everyone wants to be the Warriors, but who has 3 players that can shoot like Curry/Klay/KD? So why bother playing their style?

So why bother playing their style? Kerr runs his high motion O thru the high post, look how many cuts/screens they set around the ft line. Clearly Kerr paid attention playing for Pop and Phil Jackson. I like Butler Brad for Boston but he runs so many plays like coaching mid major college ball with all the dribbling and jacking jumpers off pick and rolls. Tatum could be perfect for a hi post system.

millar70Kerr is great here. Not taking what the d gives you. Even the dumbest and laziest d will not give you the area right below the ft line. That is what you base your attack on. Create the most problems for the d. If I see another of those stupid corner 3 pt shots....I mean why not just when you cross half court put the ball on the ground and apolgize to the d for being offensive. Lol.
