If the rumors are genuine, the next director will be female. They include Dee Rees, Michelle MacLaren, S.J. Clarkson, and Jane Campion.

Again, Niki Caro would’ve been a better option than any of those.
Out of those, however, I’m thinking that Michelle McLaren would be the best choice since she seems to be able to handle gender-neutral materials better than other 3 - as talented as they all are.

Never heard of any of them or seen any of the movies they have done. Outside of MacLaren doing a couple episodes of Game of Thrones and Clarkson doing some Dexter and Defenders episodes I haven't seen anything. I also have no clue if those episodes they did were any good off the top of my head. Personally, I don't care if they make a 3rd GOTG movie. Almost would prefer that they didn't and chose to do something else instead.
