Cool list and thread, clusium . Too many to name/remember. How about worked with or for? (both, in my case but I couldn't reveal that, even anonymously!) Yes, you can add celebrities you worked with or for. They're cool too.

Growing up my Dad worked for a TV station down here so I got to meet a lot of local TV "stars". I can't imagine that many of you will know who these people are but some notables (for Australia) anyway were Shirley Strachan, Linda Stoner, Peter Adams, Rowena Wallace, all notable in the late 70's early 80's.

Yes, you can add celebrities you worked with or for. They're cool too. I dont mind if others do but i won't: it's privacy invasive, might come across as bragging, would invariably lead to more privacy invasive Qs and cannot be verified anyway so might be accused of lying. Then there's the celeb whose house I slept in! Invited, may I add. (ok, ok, now that was shameless bragging!) But I honestly had NO idea who he was, he was filming his hit show, hadn't aired yet. So he was on the verge of fame. I'll give u 20 hail Mary's, as soon as I figure out what that is. Wait. You worked for Paul Newman, right?

I met three famous (in this case infamous) women while in Las Vegas many, many years ago. Went to an upstairs bar to have a drink. Kind of crowded but saw a few seats at the bar. Half way threw my beer who sits down next to me. Ginger Lynn and Traci Lords on one side and Amber Lynn on the other. They must have seen the look on my face and Ginger asked if I recognized them. When I said yes Amber asked if I had seen any of their movies. When I said yes they just started talking and even bought me two beers. My only regret was I did not have a camera to have a picture of them with me.

Bette Davis came to the opening of an art gallery at a college in my home town. It was about 1971 or so, quite a while ago. I'd gone to the gallery because I'd heard she'd be there, and I wasn't disappointed. She shook everyone's hand! I was very impressed and remember she was quite tiny, not at all what you'd expect. She also had long hair and looked very GLAM.

You're welcome! There's a summer stock theater not far from where I lived in Maine, and every summer we'd go up there to see the plays. In those days, stars actually headlined the plays, which would be there for one week. I met (and when I say "met," I mean, we (my sisters and I) went backstage and oftentimes right in the dressing room) Audra Lindley, who became Mrs. Roper on Three's Company (this was years before, however), and she was very, very nice. We also met and got to hobknob with Bill Shatner--yes, the Shat himself! He was doing a play called "The Tender Trap," and believe it or not, we were the only fans backstage to see him! He's short in real life but was very pleasant and signed all our photographs. Other people we met include Eve Arden, Patty Duke and her then-husband, John Astin, Patrick MacNee (from the Avengers), David Selby (from Dark Shadows), Sandy Dennis, and even John Travolta!

I've only met Taylor Momsen (from Gossip Girl and lead singer of The Pretty Reckless). She was really nice when I met her and told me I looked pretty.

I've met and seen a ton of celebrities (Jack Nicholson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Kelsey Grammar, Shari Belafonte, James Woods, Charo, Sinbad, and so many more, too many to name), but I just recently found out my Grandmothers' cousin was married to Cesar Romero.

Mickey Rooney Vanna White I know she is not a celebrity or actress but I have seen Casey Anthony in person. Interesting. Likewise, while I know he is not a celebrity, I met Steven Truscott 10 years ago.
