You need a choice that says “who cares”. I can’t imagine anyone outside of Boston or LA actually wanting this matchup. Why wouldn't people be interested in this? Two fantastic teams, both are legendary franchises playing each other in the Series for the first time, two grand ballparks, Kershaw and Puig playing at Fenway for the first time, Machado coming back to Fenway where he is hated (and rakes btw), plus we might see Tommy Lasorda falling asleep after eating a massive plate of ravioli. Yeah, sounds real dull..... Says the Red Sox fan. That’s all well and good, the things you listed, but as a fan of neither the Dodgers nor the Red Sox, I’ll say again, outside of the two cities involved, who cares? The Dodgers are basically Yankees west, and I’m sure the non-Boston sports world is tired of all things Boston. Congratulations on all the successes your city’s teams have had, all earned, the rest of us are just yeah yeah yeah already. |

Really, not much of what I said has to do with me being a Red Sox fan, more of me being a baseball fan. These are two great teams going at it, should be a blast. Honestly, if these players were playing on Tampa and Arizona, I think it would still be a fun watch, maybe not as cool but still fun. Good baseball is good baseball. |
