The first X-Men's so safe though, so colorless. It's almost boring, save for some decent performances and a terrific discovery in Hugh Jackman. The action figure commercial approach might have even worked better. It's not bad, it's just safe. It shot for the middle and that's exactly where it landed.
The MCU could have never existed and I'd still find the X-Men movies underwhelming, save for First Class and Days of Future Past (the latter taking me a long time to come around to). And the Deadpool movies if they count. But I've been finding the X-Men movies underwhelming since 2000 and the MCU didn't exist for another 8-9 years yet.
only children are obsessed with colours. its a right of passage. as a kid your parents and teachers buy you many colourful crayons and pens but as you get older and enter high school and college you realize you can and should only write with blue or black pen.
When was the last time you watched a black and white movie?

most mcu fans find xmen films underwhelming
How did you come to that conclusion? A couple of biased MCU fanboys on this board called the X-Men movies trash so now the majority of MCU fans dislike them? You’re a special one, aren’t you?

most mcu fans find xmen films underwhelming , its a reflex action of them knowing mcu movies are trash. so they hate the non trashy marvel movies that made people think.
So you hate films from Pixar. Thought so.

a long time marvel fan like me. Let's be honest here, no one who thinks that tight-fitting black leather outfits are the best superhero costumes can ever be taken seriously as a "long time marvel fan". As for your post, the only people who would consider the first X-men film as a deep and thought-provoking film would be kids and mentally challenged adults. Most normal adults would be way too intelligent to consider that movie thought-provoking or deep. So I guess we know which camp you fall under. Let's face it, X-men was every bit as shallow an action blockbuster as the Avengers. The main difference is that Avengers was a lot better.

Today. How about yourself? I'm perplexed by your stepping in to answer. Nonetheless, last Sunday I watched The Lady Vanishes. You asked a question on an open message board and then you're perplexed when someone answers it? Sorry that I upset you. Here's a question for you. What do our avatars have in common? I'm not uptight so anyone can feel free to hazard a guess.

The first X-Men movie hasn't aged particularly well and, like every X-Men movie except First Class, it was a Wolverine movie first and an X-Men movie second. It has a few other problems to boot. X2 is the only one of the original trilogy that was any good.

So your motivations were purely just friendly? Of course. I'm still not following why answering a question would be perceived as nefarious. I don't believe you. Not after your last response, which is precisely what I expected after the first one. I knew that was coming. I think you know who I asked and why. I think you know the point I'm trying to make and I know you know it doesn't apply to you, or me. I wasn't sure until your next response.
You have a black and white movie for an avatar and gave the briefest possible answer that still qualifies as one before asking me the same question. So what does a guy with a black and white movie photo have to gain from asking another guy with a black and white movie photo when last he saw a black and white movie? My guess is you stepped in to protect a friend. You know my question was tailor made for his comment about colors, and that no one's answer could be valuable to the point as his. I know you know it's why I asked him because it's in your first response to me. It's not answering a question that's nefarious, it's answering the question the way you did (minimalist) and asking it in return (knowing that asking me in return serves no purpose). You didn't even say what movie you saw, you just went right into "You asked a question on an open message board and then you're perplexed when someone answers it? Sorry that I upset you." That looks like the response you had lying in wait, and it combined with the rest, looks like your real hand.
That's why I don't believe your intentions are friendly.

"factual theory"
I'm sorry, but... Is that a thing? I mean, a fact is something that has been thoroughly proven to be absolutely true. A theory, on the other hand, is just an idea that still needs testing before it can be categorized as fact. So, is summers saying that it is a fact that some people believe this theory, or is he just butchering the English language again?

only children are obsessed with colours.
There are also many, many fully grown adults out there whose mood is greatly impacted by the color of their environment and by the use of color in the entertainment they digest. Try it. Go spend an extended amount of time in the drab, sterile building you can find and then spend some time in a homey, cheery place. You'll notice the difference in your mood pretty quickly. That is literally the reason why many establishments that are meant to contain people for an extended period of time, whether they be employees or residents, will take efforts to make the place appealing to the eyes. Why? Because it's been proven in human psychology that a well-maintained and pleasant-looking environment can greatly improve a person's mental well-being. That's why home owners might try to brighten a room to make it cheerier to be in. I'm sure your mother has made you help redecorate the house many times in your 16 years alive. It's also why insane asylums tend to use sterile colors. They're intentionally trying not to invoke strong responses in their patients. Yes, I know office buildings are also known for looking pretty fairly sterile, but there is still a token effort made to make the place presentable, and employees ARE allowed to decorate their cubicles up to a certain point.

Do MCU fans now accept this factual theory. Has anyone pointed out how something CANT be factual if its a THEORY?
Y'know, since theories are suppositions that haven't been proven yet?
