Opinions? Yay or Nay? I am assuming Superior Spiderman was the inspiration

Looks cool. I wonder what it does or why he's wearing it. Is it from Stark (Is he still alive?) or did he make it himself?

Superior Spider-Man? I'm also hearing that this is a Miles Morales rip off? Where are people getting this? This is obviously a modernization of Ditko.

I like the girl. The suit looks like spider poo though. No biggie.
Update: But i get used to it, maybe it signals venomous darkness like in SM3 when he finds his red kryptonite; or it's just a repaint job to give the illusion of fresh ideas, like so admirably done in Force Awakens.

I wonder why he would have a different suit in the first place.

Even ambitious, if you know what I mean...

Whose suit hasn't changed from movie to movie in the modern CBM era? Superman? His costume remained the same across Man of Steel, Batman vs Superman and Justice League.

At least it isn't CGI.

I assure you, there were changes made to Superman's costume between Man of Steel and and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Seeing as how they were so subtle as to go almost completely unnoticed by fans like yourself, one wonders why they went through the trouble at all.

Oh yeah I see, it is very minor though. I'm sure they'd have to make new costumes because the size and shape of the actors probably change. Why they'd redesign it to such a minimal extent I don't know either. They changed the Raimi costume between movies but that's not much of a change either I think they made parts a little brighter. This is a significant change though. I'm sure it's probably to do with selling toys. Different costume means it's a different toy to sell that kids don't already have.

This is a significant change though. I'm sure it's probably to do with selling toys. Different costume means it's a different toy to sell that kids don't already have. The current trend in super hero movies is to provide character with an incremental update to their wardrobe for whatever reason with each subsequent movie. Iron Man being the exemplar for this practice. Frankly, I’m surprised that you are surprised. The practice serves many purposes. It sells toys. It allows actors to feel as if their character has progressed. It may even address issues faced by previous versions of the costume that made them uncomfortable to wear for long hours on set (e.g., Batman). I believe that the first Raimi Spider-Man suit had reflectivity issues so they overhauled it to be less shiny. You can clearly see the gauntlet changes to Superman’s costume in Dawn of Justice. How he would have made a new version of his suit is a bit of mystery though. Considering that Pete’s new suit is based on Stark-Tech, a new version of it for this movie shouldn’t be so shocking. I’m more surprised that they managed this level of restraint in upgrading it honestly. j/s

Oh I'm not surprised that they changed the costume, he had more than one costume in Homecoming and he also had a new costume for Infinity War.
I'm talking about from a plot of view, why he would require another costume that's different from his other one.
Can it do something in particular that his other suit couldn't.

There talk of a stealth mode. I could see that coming in handy against Mysterio. Maybe Pete just wanted something of his own design.

I assumed it was Superior Spiderman (I also thought maybe Miles' too) because of the black. Now I've read that's not black in the set photo but navy blue. I honestly can't see navy blue I see black.
