Apple's Nazi policies when it comes to repairing or selling used "vintage" Apple products especially against 3rd party vendors.
The uproar and upheaval because of Linux's new Code of Conduct policies where a number of angry Linux developers could potentially retaliate by declaring copyright, pull their licenses to their work putting a kill switch and rendering any distros useless.
And there are rumors of Microsoft wanting to charge a monthly subscription for using Windows 10 a few years from now. Not to mention the continuous garbage with their updates.

The hell with Apple in general. their products are overpriced, especially when it comes to anything computer related I would always go with Windows or Linux. It's basically BS politics and boils down to this as I read the following in a article on it... "This is a classic example of how a few offended people, who never contributed a single line of code to the project, tried to oust its core contributor." & "In principle these CoCs look great. In practice they are abused tools to hunt people SJWs[Social Justice Warriors] don’t like. And they don’t like a lot of people." Personally I say the hell with them. leave things like they have been. they are best off ignoring all of those people who complain over next to nothing as when they pay attention to them it just gives them more power which I would not do. so when those SJW types whine and complain about someone, just let them whine and it will eventually go away. those SJW types of people are just generally bad for society as they are more about destroying things than making things better. that's why I would just flat out ignore them when they whine. p.s. source for those above quotes... itsfoss.com/linux-code-of-conduct/If that happens, the hell with Microsoft. I damn sure won't be doing that. period. Yeah, Windows 10 has had it's issues for some people but on my main computer I have not really had any major show stopping issues so far. I am currently on 17763.104 which is the newest available as 17763.1 was the one that had the file deletion problems for some people which I was not effected and even if I was the damage would be minimal because I don't really store stuff in the default save locations like Documents/Videos/Pictures etc that seem to get wiped out if one is effected as it appears it's a all-or-nothing scenario in that it will either delete all of the stuff or none of it. but on a old laptop (my backup computer) it had a big issue in Jan 2018 with I think it was build 16299.192 causing the OS to freeze during boot up and then, after a couple of manual forced reboots or so, would eventually enter repair mode and return to the previous build which worked fine only to try upgrading to 16299.192 again. but it only effected certain CPU's and my old laptop was one of them (AMD Turion CPU). that's THE biggest problem I have personally experienced with Windows 10 (thankfully it was not on my main computer though). but I am sure the laptop is fine at this point with Windows 10 even though I just got Linux Mint v19 on it currently as that's good enough for a basic internet machine.

That's just a rumor though. nothing confirmed. He mentioned something like $20 a month, but that's WAY TOO MUCH considering the following info... if that whole 'Windows as a subscription' thing took effect... even at $1 a month that's $12 per year or $120 in 10 years which would be about the cost of how Windows has been for a while now since Windows XP lasted from 2001 til 2014 (nearly 13 years) and Windows 7 goes from 2009 til Jan 2020 (about 10 years) for around $100-120. so basing $ around the 10 year standard is how I would measure things to see if it's about the same as things are now. but then again I have never actually shelled out $ for Windows directly because with Windows 7 you have 'Windows Loader v2.2.2' by Daz (SHA-1 hash of the .exe file = "0efc35935957c25193bbe9a83ab6caa25a487ada" ; that's the real one as if yours don't match that. don't use it.) which gets you a 100% working Windows 7 for $0.00 and those on Windows 7 can then upgrade to Windows 10 for free as I think the free upgrade still works based on a article I seen only from July 2018. I know that method worked as late as Dec 2017 because it's how I got Windows 10 on a used laptop I got a hold of but I currently have Linux Mint v19 on it even though I can put Windows 10 on it if I need to down the road. it's also how I got Windows 10 Pro on both of those computers as you can just simply install the Windows 7 Pro and when you upgrade you get Windows 10 Pro. but lets just say that Windows as a subscription thing actually happens... I am hoping that will drive enough users to Linux so it gets better free software and closely matches that of Windows as it will make it much easier for me to slide into using Linux then and on the occasion I do play some games I got, ill just have to use more of a current Windows 10 before the subscription BS takes over or potentially use Windows 7 temporarily to play games etc etc. While I am no expert, I would imagine the Linux drama will eventually play itself out and things will go back to normal. Yeah, but it seems it's pretty much limited to the built-in .zip file manager in Windows 10 1809 which I never use as I always use 7-zip for my general .zip/.rar/.7z file management and those appear to be fine. so while that definitely needs to be fixed, it's not as serious as the Documents etc folders being wiped on the Windows 10 1809 upgrade. but this data deletion issue only effects a small amount of users where as the zip file thing can potentially effect everyone who uses the built-in zip manager.
p.s. I was not effected by the initial data deletion bug because after upgrading to 17763.1 my Documents folder was still intact as it appears it was a all-or-nothing sort of thing in that if you were effected it wiped everything in Documents/Videos/Pictures etc folders where as if there is anything still on those folders after the upgrade, then you were not effected. I currently am running 17763.104 which the bulk of the issues are fixed apparently except that .zip file bug which I am not effected by given I use 7-zip like I was saying.

I hope so. If not then some other open OS needs to be created preferably outside of the U.S. and Europe such as in Chile and away from hyper SJW BS.
