Halloween is just a few days away. What are some of your favourite horror movies to watch for Halloween?
Perhaps movies you feel capture the spirit of the season, or are set around Halloween season?
Thanks!

Halloween Psycho Alien
All those are in my top 50, all share the wonderful nuance of psychological fear rather than showy shocks.

I might watch Night of the Living Dead on the big screen, depending on my schedule.

Films I would love to watch, but don't have anyway to watch them:
The Uninvited The Ghost Breakers The Ghost and Mr. Chicken
Might watch ARSENIC AND OLD LACE on FilmStruck because I can.

Watch not just on Halloween, but close to the date.
UNIVERSAL HORROR (1998) The Kevin Brownlow docu on the Golden Age of Film Horror. THE CAT AND THE CANARY (1927) LEGEND OF HELL HOUSE (1973) Only the conclusion.
In view of the Frank Bicentennial, I will try to watch the Universal Frankenstein Triad: SON, BRIDE, and FRANKENSTEIN.

That's a shame. I think 'The Uninvited' fits the season well. But, 'Arsenic And Old Lace' is terrific. Hopefully they'll schedule some more vintage scares for Halloween.

I tend to go with picks from these depending on my mood >
The Haunting (1963) The Thing (1982) Night of the Demon (1957) The Fog (1980) The Descent (2005) The Fall of the House of Usher (1960) The Woman in Black (2012) The Legend of Hell House (1973) Dead Birds (2004) The Howling (1981) The Wicker Man (1973)
One of the Scream movies normally gets an airing, also a Final Destination entry.
We shall see
