I was completely wrong on Carolina-Baltimore. Thought that was going to be a close one.

I know there's some giants fans here...
this is really appalling to watch.
I always thought Phil Simms would have made a great head coach - and he seems to be a lifer. despite the hate at times of being negative - I think he's a terrific analyst.
has there been any discussion up there of throwing Simms an offer?
Hiring Simms to me = i'm sorry to the fanbase - he is Mr. Giant and a knowledgeable asset.
I think he'd thrive

How are all my play-by-play brethren today. Don't like the Bears throwbacks and what's up with the Lions? Biplolar. The Lions are one of the most puzzling teams in the NFL, they have a lot of talent, but they frequently lay massive eggs, their defense is unreliable and has been disappointing and they’ve had absolutely no rushing attack today, Blount has barely done anything all season and Johnson has only had 8 carries today, that’s not good. That's them, year after year after year. Even when Barry Sanders was playing the would barely sneak into the playoffs. Maybe Alex Karras would have an idea of the last time they were good. Wait...is he dead?

The Giants just don’t give a fuck once again, they play with no enthusiasm and no passion, they know they aren’t contending for anything right now, they need to draft a new franchise QB ASAP, trade OBJ and begin the rebuilding process, starting with their atrocious O-Line.

He’s in that no-man’s land of probably not a bust but he won’t win you a Super Bowl. He’ll probably be back because if not him then who? It's really the worst place to be. You're setting yourself up to be Miami with Tanneyhill. It’s almost better to draft a Jamarcus Russell than this. At least you know what you have and can cut bait quickly. It’s so hard to hit on good stud young quarterbacks. Goff, Wentz, Mahomes, and probably Mayfield are it. Mariota is up and down. None of the other ones drafted last year have stood out. Trubisky? Maybe. And that’s probably it. God help the Patriots when Brady retires.

Four interceptions for Winston. They can't bring him back next year, can they? He's lost his touch.

Yes, having a QB that isn’t a bust but will never contend for a Super Bowl is a terrible place for a team to be. The Fins are like that with Tannehill, the Bengals with Dalton as well. I think it’s better to draft a bust, that way you can discard them quickly and find someone new, rather than be stuck with mediocrity for years. The Bucs should ditch Winston IMO, he’s a turnover machine as well as an awful human being who’s constantly into trouble.

I was completely wrong on Carolina-Baltimore. Thought that was going to be a close one. You would think after losing the way they did last week to New Orleans, they would want redemption. Ravens played like they didn't care.

Bears get a much needed W, even if it was against the mediocre/piss poor Jets. They got the Bills and the Lions the next two weeks, two fairly winnable games.

what's with these quasi onside squib kicks lately gently lobbed over the initial lines heads?
just onside kick the damn ball into the ground old school style hoping for a big bounce

My Chief's offense is just so much fun to watch. We have had a shit offense for so many years that I had forgotten how much fun scoring points could be. It was just a few years ago where we went an entire season with no TD catches for receivers. It was absurd.
