A morbid thread indeed but I saw a comment on IGN and it just got me thinking.
It's not something people tend to think too much about because it's not really a nice thought. Right now you're all just browsing through the boards on the internet just like any other day but unfortunately one day you'll no longer be here.
100 years from now all the members on this forum will be gone.
Life will move on without you and you'll miss out on all these things the world will come out with, new movies, music, games, technology etc.
Fantastic inventions will be made that we will never know about.
Does dying worry you? Do you just accept that it will happen one day? If you were to go tomorrow would you say you were happy with what you've done with your life?

Yes, I guess I push it out of my head like most, what bothers me the most is the pain of dying IE heart attack, cancer etc.

I think about it from time to time. Sometimes more than I like. Sometimes it doesn't bother me one bit, other times it disturbs me.
To answer your final question yes I've been happy with my life and what I've done for the most part. Sometimes I regret that I won't leave much of a mark or anything to be remembered by. NO kids no legacy.

Yes, I guess I push it out of my head like most, what bothers me the most is the pain of dying IE heart attack, cancer etc. Yes the actually transaction from living to not living. I think that is what worries me the most. Not necessarily the state of being dead, but the actual here and now of the experience as it happens. This is where some Douglas Adams comes in handy: “So this is it," said Arthur, "We are going to die."
"Yes," said Ford, "except... no! Wait a minute!" He suddenly lunged across the chamber at something behind Arthur's line of vision. "What's this switch?" he cried.
"What? Where?" cried Arthur, twisting round.
"No, I was only fooling," said Ford, "we are going to die after all.”"So this it. We're going to Die!" "Would you STOP saying that"

I think about it once in a while. I just accept it as something that will happen someday. Thinking otherwise wouldnt really do anything good.

Yeah I think about it here and there. Sometimes I can't help it it I imagine myself in my 90s and having Alzheimer's and just dying and lying in the ground for the rest of eternity.

I think about it occasionally, but I don't really fear death as such (I just hope that, when it comes, it's quick and painless). It's more the realization that the party will go on without me. That's what really bugs me.

considering how many people have died in my family - my mom, my aunt, my father, My 2nd niece
and also considering how I'm basically the only non-smoker in my remaining family
yeah it crosses my mind alot

I try not to but the thought pops up from time to time. I think the worst part is getting old. Going from being athletic and invincible, to grunting when you get up from a chair from having a destroyed back suuuuuuuxx

The missing out on what's to come sux also. I remember one landline phone, and tv with 4 channels. Look at how things are now. What will it be like in 40 years.

I rarely think about it. And on the few times that I do, I don't fear it because I believe death is not the end.

It crosses my mind often but I don't dwell on it because it depresses me. There's so many things I haven't done and places I haven't gotten to go and probably never will get to.

Every single day, but I don't fear death I think about it as going to sleep and not waking up. I mean I don't remember anything from before I was born and the same will be true once the lights go out.

The only thing certain in life is death. I hate that.
I don't think about it too often though. No use worrying about the inevitable.

You ever consider suicide?...
...I'll tell you one thing that's certain; you won't fight dying once you've peeked over to the other side; you'll no more want to go back to your body than you'd want to spoon up your own puke.

A little off topic. Two days ago when I came home from work there was a short message on my answering machine. Caller ID showed "Name Unavail". It was a robotic voice. When I first heard the message it sounded like it was saying "You're gonna die" in that cold female robo-voice with a hint of an Asian accent with the "you're" part said very quickly so it sounds more like "yua-Gonna Dy". It was actually saying "Goodbye". I did a Google search for it to assure myself I wasn't nuts or imagining things, and found a couple of forums about junk calls had discussed it. There of course was some know it all who says "How can someone confuse "You're Gonna Die" with "Goodbye"?" I would think that also, but oddly it can happen. Someone made a Youtube video with the same robo-voice message probably from the same originating source maybe not the same California based phone number but who knows. goodbye robo voice
