Fair or not, you can't hardly listen to this terrific tune and not think of Buffalo Bill in 'Silence of the Lambs'.
What are some other associations?

I can't hear Stevie Wonders' "Superstition" and not think of John Carpenters' "The Thing".
"The Midnight Special" (CCR) - "Twilight Zone: The Movie"
"Born on the Bayou" (CCR) - "The Return of Swamp Thing"

The consensus, back in those days, was that I could always do the best Bobcat impersonation. Corinne Bohrer was super cute!

The truly terrible third and final of the original 90s Turtles "trilogy", which I still have a soft stop for, thanks to nostalgia. However, when the ZZ Top and their 80s hit is being played either on TV or radio, this stupid and incredible cheesy scene, is all that I can think about.

Zed was my favorite character in the series, and as a kid I was really upset at how he stopped doing more Police Academy films, but I guess he just got fed up and wanted to move on, anyway, Zed did end up with Laura so I guess it worked out well for him. Corinne was, and still looks great. Sadly she never seemed to get her big break, but for me she will always be one of those "lesser known" 80s babes that left a huge impact on me, and why I have seen Citizens on Patrol, more than any living or normal person probably should have during a lifetime.

The 50s pop hit "Mr. Sandman" is now always linked to "Halloween II" (1981) in my mind.

The song Blue Velvet will be forever linked to the David Lynch film by the same title.

Theme from A Summer Place with peacefulness or horror depending on who's listening.

My ex and I saw him several times in the Bay Area before he went national. "I lost my job the other day. Well I didn't really lose my job. Aaaaaaaahhhh! Well I didn't really lose my job! It's just when I go there, there's this new guy doing it!" Breaks open several cans of Tab and downs them at the same time. "Aaaaaaaahhhh! Is your daughter home? I'm pretty much every parent's dream date!" Don't You Forget About Me - Breakfast Club Unchained Melody - Ghost

I can't hear "The End" without imagining burning rainforest and Martin Sheen's upside-down face.

TV commercials have long been a culprit of using established songs and making a new generation associate them with whatever product they're advertising. A recent example,
Blondie's "One Way Or Another" is now known as "the mop song" after being used in the Swiffer Mop commercials.
Carly Simon's "Anticipation" for Heinz Ketchup.
The Go-Gos "Vacation" for Carnival Cruises.
The Kink's "Picture Book" for Hewlett Packard.
The Beatles' "Getting Better" for Philips Electronics.
Etc.
I don't know if this is a good or bad thing. It exposes a new generation to classic tunes, but then they associate great songs with products.

You're singing or expecting the next line and they skip it.
