Any scene where a character has an inner monologue/dialogue with themselves and we watch them change their facial expressions gradually as we hear their inner voice talking to themselves.
ideally comedic tone, but will take drama too. movie or series, doesnt matter. all that matters is that we watch someone illustrate what they are thinking with their facial expresions while listening to what they are thinking via a voice over. i know there is ton of scenes like that but this is the only one i can now think of...
best woud be to find one where a guy is prepping to ask a girl on a date like this.
thank you.

Ross wanted to f**k his cousin? What, was he some inbred hillbilly? Now I know why I never watched that show. you are missing out! its actually a really good show. this scene is a pinnacle of a theme of one episode where everybody sees this girl as super hot, that even her own cousin hits on her. i think its pretty daring they actually went there - notably for a character who is a university professor, pretty bold move. i personally love this scene for its comedy value. give the show a chance - its really well written, one of the smartest out there certainly mid to late nineties no contest (after Seinfeld of course). And they were even fairly progressive. They had seberal gay characters (and portrayed them as personable and fought for their rights), they even had a transvestite (and potentially a transgender) character and again portrayed them as personable and actually illustrated a pretty meaningful family relationship through this character, instead of just using it for a cheap comedic value. they did miss the boat on ratial diversity but caught up in about season 3/4. the show sometimes has a rep as a silly / stupid show since its premise seems so simple, (friendships right) but its actually a really good show (with some excellent writers and actors) - that other shows Still rip off to this day. anyway, I hope someone will help me find another inner monologue scene
