Note: in case of equal records, tiebreaker is given to the poster who submitted their picks first. Week 8 results Two posters, coldenhaulfield and Toy-Cannon, fell one game short of a perfect record this week. Still, their week 8 results of 13-1 set the record for this season. Week 9 Rules: simply pick the winner of each game listed. No score required (though a little added commentary on your picks won't be discouraged). You must make your picks before the first game of the week (usually Thursday Night Football) to be eligible for all the games. If you miss Thursday, you can still make picks for Saturday/Sunday games. If you haven't picked the Sunday games by the start of the first game (1pm EST), your picks won't count.
If I've liked your post, consider your picks logged and recorded. So if you want to change them, best tell me in another post. Starting to wonder if I will ever crack double digits in the correct picks category Picking the Giants and Jets each week isn't doing me any favors!!! Oakland @ San Francisco: San Francisco Pittsburgh @ Baltimore: Baltimore Chicago @ Buffalo: Chicago Tampa Bay @ Carolina: Carolina Kansas City @ Cleveland: KC NY Jets @ Miami: Jets Detroit @ Minnesota: Minnesota Atlanta @ Washington: Washington Houston @ Denver: Houston LA Chargers @ Seattle: Seattle LA Rams @ New Orleans: New Orleans Green Bay @ New England: New England Tennessee @ Dallas: Dallas Well, at least I don't have to watch the Giants embarrass themselves again this weekend. Man, that Thursday night game is must see TV!!! I think Baltimore can bounce back and take down Pittsburgh. They know the Steelers. Chicago beats the crap out of Buffalo. Carolina takes out TB because they know who they want as quarterback. KC drubs Cleveland. Jets are mediocre but they are capable of going in and taking out the directionless Dolphins. Total coin toss on Detroit/Minnesota. You don't know what you are getting week to week with them. Going with Minnesota for home field advantage. Washington pummels the Falcons to maintain control of first in the East. Houston continues rolling with a win in Denver but this could be an upset win for the Broncos. Seattle with the minor upset over the Chargers. Game of the Week: Rams!!! Saints!!! I am going with the Saints to give the Rams their first loss. They are due for a loss which won't hurt their momentum going into the playoffs. Packers gave the Rams a run for their money despite their problems and I expect them to do the same against the Pats. Part of me expects the Pack to end the Patriots 5 game winning streak but I will stick by my original choice and say New England keeps rolling. Should be a good game as Rodgers gives GB a fighting chance. Snoozer Monday night game. I will take Dallas.

I think this is the week the Rams lose their only game. On the road in the Superdome to Drew Brees seems like a notable future historical asterisk.

You can pretty much count me as 13-1 also since I said in my post the Saints would win but that I wouldn't pick against my team. So in all reality I predicted 13 correct.

Thursday November 1st 8:20pm EST Oakland @ San Francisco - Who cares? Derek Carr can throw some quick passes to Richard all game and probably still win. Both teams want to suck, the 49ers have the better excuse with their starting QB out.
Sunday November 4th 1:00pm Pittsburgh @ Baltimore - They play each other hard. I'll take the home team here.
Chicago @ Buffalo - Duh
Tampa Bay @ Carolina - Tampa puts up a fight but Cam pulls this one out
Kansas City @ Cleveland - Duh
NY Jets @ Miami -Toss up here.
Detroit @ Minnesota - If Detroit wins this game I'll be surprised. Detroit doesn't have the defense to make Cousins 2nd guess his choices.
Atlanta @ Washington - In my head Atlanta SHOULD win this game. However I thought the same thing in the same situation that GB should beat this Washington team. They didn't. If it was in Atlanta it's an easy choice towards Atlanta. Taking a flier here I guess.
4:05pm Houston @ Denver - I get a weird feeling that Watson with his injuries may have an issue with the Denver air. Denver surprises here.
LA Chargers @ Seattle - Fuck, I guess Seattle isn't as bad as I expected them to be.
4:25pm LA Rams @ New Orleans - Again, LA won't go undefeated and this is a game they can lose.
8:20pm Green Bay @ New England - Legit think GB matches up well against the Patriots. Patriots defense at this time doesn't scare me. However Tom Brady will always do so. I think Jaire matches up with Edleman and holds him limited. Gronk? Is a match up nightmare but I think Josh Jackson gets the job done just enough. Maybe he gets a big INT while covering him.
Monday November 5th 8:15pm Tennessee @ Dallas - Fuck, Idk

It shouldn't be cold but still. I could see the Falcons losing this.
