That's not Scotland, is it? I believe it was a scene set in Sheffield, a South Yorkshire city. It's from the first episode of the current season of Doctor Who. It's funny seeing you ask whether it was Scotland, as it seems quite a few people have confirmed that a drunk person throwing salad at something they're apparently unimpressed by wouldn't be out of the ordinary where they live.

My asking if it was Scotland wasn't an accident.
I should have realized it was DOCTOR WHO.
After more than 40 years, I stopped watching last year.

Yeah, I can understand that. I almost gave up on watching the show last season too. However, with a new Doctor/new companions/new showrunner/pretty much new everything this year, I thought it was worth giving the new season a go. Thankfully, I’m enjoying this season much more than the previous one. I personally think Jodie Whittaker’s great in the role of the Doctor.

Thankfully, I’m enjoying this season much more than the previous one. I personally think Jodie Whittaker’s great in the role of the Doctor. No, I liked the last Doctor. Peter Capaldi actually felt like a proper Doctor from Classic Who for a change. I just didn't like his stories. I really meant to stop watching at the end of Matt Smith's run and the Doctor's first lifecycle. The only reason I kept going was because of how promising Peter Capaldi seemed to be.
I haven't enjoyed New Who much at all. I've watched every existing serial from Classic Who multiple times, sometimes as many as 20 or 30 times each. I think I might have watched a handful of New Who serials more than once - and that was usually just by accident. In fact, I've barely paid attention to some of them the first time around.
And whatever it is now, it isn't DOCTOR WHO. It isn't the TV series I enjoyed between 1975 and 2005 - and with countless replays. Just some sad pathetic joke and a pale imitation of what it used to be in the days of Hartnell, Troughton, Pertwee, Tom Baker, Davison and McGann...
