It's not a lie. It's in the movie. Killmonger rejected it and told him he wanted to die, T'Challa honored his wish. So if someone wants to jump off a bridge or jump off a building and kill himself, everyone should honor his wish and let him kill himself. And if a religious cult wants to commit mass suicide, everyone should honor their wish and let them kill themselves?

You can keep reaching all you like NPC-Fan but there is nothing wrong or eye brow raising with T'Challa's choice to let Killmonger die at the end of Black Panther, it worked well on a story and character level. Honestly NPC-fan the more you reach the more sillier you come off.

Zemo said the same thing, but T’challa didn’t honor his wish. It's really simple. Zemo wasn't a threat to T'Challa's throne. Killmonger challenged T'Challa for the throne and had already defeated T'Challa in combat once so Killmonger was a huge threat to T'Challa's throne if he lived. That's why T'Challa couldn't let Killmonger live. T'Challa had to eliminate the biggest threat to his throne. Ladies and gentlemen, NPC-fan is at it again...

MCU fans continue to come up with lame excuses to defend T'Challa refusing to save Killmonger's life.
Excuse #1: "T'Challa was honoring Killmonger's wish to die."
So if someone wants to jump off a bridge or jump off a building and kill himself, we should honor his wish and let him kill himself? And if a religious cult wants to commit mass suicide, we should honor their wish and let them kill themselves?
Excuse #2: "But Killmonger wanted to die so T'Challa can't go against Killmonger's wish to not be saved."
NOPE. Killmonger was T'Challa's prisoner so T'Challa would be required to save Killmonger.
Tom Brady's best friend Aaron Hernandez was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison without any possibility of parole. Hernandez hung himself in his prison cell last year.
But suppose a prison guard found Hernandez before Hernandez died and got Hernandez down from the noose and Hernandez was still alive but needed medical treatment. The warden can't say "Well, he tried to hang himself so clearly he wants to die so I'm not going to provide him the medical care to save him." Hernandez was the warden's prisoner so the warden would've been required to save Hernandez regardless if Hernandez wanted to die.
Moreover, Killmonger doesn't have any right to not receive medical treatment and not be saved because Wakanda is an absolute monarchy and the King has absolute power to decide who lives or who dies in Wakanda. So regardless if Killmonger wished to die, T'Challa had the absolute power to save Killmonger's life.
But T'Challa refused to save Killmonger's life, not because Killmonger wished to die, but because Killmonger had challenged T'Challa for the throne and had already defeated T'Challa in combat once before. So if Killmonger lived, Killmonger would be a huge threat toT'Challa's throne. That's why T'Challa couldn't let Killmonger live. T'Challa had to eliminate the biggest threat to his throne.

The duty of care would further be triggered by the fact that he BP himself inflicted the wound - thus caused it. If you wound somebody, even in self defense, but later neglect to call help and deliberately let him die (without him being a threat anymore) it's some degree of (dolus eventualis) murder or manslaughter depending on the jurisdiction.

Agreed. That's what I've been telling the MCU fans here for a long time. T'Challa refused to save Killmonger after neutralizing Killmonger with a fatal would so that Killmonger was no longer an immediate threat. Of course, since Wakanda is an absolute monarchy and the King has absolute power, like a dictator, T'Challa's refusal to save Killmonger's life wouldn't be murder/manslaughter but an execution. So effectively, T'Challa executed Killmonger without any trial. Now legally, T'Challa had the power and the right as King and absolute monarch of Wakanda to execute anyone he wants to. But Killmonger was an American citizen so the execution of an American citizen without any trial would be bad for foreign relations.

Here on earth that was mostly abolished with the French revolution or the 1849 constitutional revolutions latest. If this is true T'Challa is a ruthless dictator like K Feige and a war criminal. It's as if Feige had held the lethal weapon himself, even if he was Out of Town again. Reason enough to reboot the MCU and to prosecute Feige.
