Mounty on Film General said he named his son Talos after a character in Jason and the Argonauts.

When that crazy guy actually turned out to be a terrorist. Ah yes, Madotuski_the_Dreamer, how could I forget? The time he got arrested was indeed a great moment. That guy was one crazy mofo. I think he's due for parole in a few years too, god help us all. He was actually just sentenced to ten years in prison this past June, followed by "lifetime supervised release." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joshua_Ryne_Goldberg

The nature of his trouble is such that I can't even tell it on board. Guess it's a good thing that he is gone. One memorable thing about him was his skills in creating funny names to insult others.
There was a photo on a news site of him being arrested and he looked exactly as he had described himself. A few other things he claimed also turned out to be true. He was no liar. He pleaded guilty to giving alcohol to minors. He was a youth leader at his church. He had a party at his house and a few minors were there drinking. There was some question of sexual battery offenses, but he was never charged. He served less than a year in county jail.
After years of arguing with him on the board, we had some private discussions after his release from jail. His whole insult game was just an act. In private he was a reasonable fellow. We would exchange friendly PMs and a minute later he would be attacking someone on the board in his unique way. It was hilarious to watch. In 2013 he showed me a message where the Aye Lewis group offered him an extra account and password if he wanted to join them in disrupting the board. He never liked to share troll glory so he refused. I haven't heard from him since that time.
Thanks for sharing the extra info, Sulla.
Last time I saw him posting on RFS was in the late 2014 period or early 2015. He was calling progressive-element, pregnant-elephant. and threatening to assault someone.

Before the Religion board was created in 2007, the Pit (The Passion of the Christ board) was the unofficial religion board. In 2006 there was a regular poster there named TheonGreyjoy. He had a real-life girlfriend we knew as Dofka. Her pic was hot. She usually posted on other boards. One day they apparently got into a serious argument at home. She was so angry that she showed up on the Pit and started telling everyone about their sex life, revealing his private sexual habits and flaws, etc. I felt some sympathy for him, but at the same time it was absurdly funny. Lesson learned - Don't tell your partner about your favorite message board community. Oh, I do feel sorry and sympathize with him just because he named himself Theon Greyjoy. Even the real Theon Greyjoy suffered a lot. The guy at least had his balls in tact.

the time i visited the Alan Rickman board and there was a huge warning at the top warning people to stay on topic or else
the time i visited the Richard Armitage board, along with most of The Walking Dead board posters. They were trolling that board something fierce and IMDb finally deleted all the trolls, but also my account and a few others who were just collateral damage I guess

Two posters on the Passion of the Christ/Religion board (I don’t remember which it was at the time) got into an argument about the movie The Godfather. Both lived close enough to Philadelphia. It escalated to a point where they decided to meet behind a Wal Mart or something to settle the disput via fisticuffs. One of the two came to his senses when his brother called him to see if he wanted to go to lunch and he said he couldn’t because he was driving to Philly to get into a fight with some guy on the internet. His brother basically called him a moron and talked him out of it. Remember this kuatorises Sulla It was me and Captain America. He was livid I said the Godfather was overrated and the argument got to the point he wanted to fight me. I told him to meet me at a bar in Philly. I had no intentions of showing up. I'm not afraid to defend myself, but I'm not an idiot. I'm glad I didn't because he said he brought a gun "to be safe" (and apparently I was the untrustworthy one). You're right about the part with his brother. He shows up on the board about an hour later and explained the part about his brother. He said he was glad he didn't show up since he was livid and brought a gun - and God only knows what could have happened.
Considering the guy would have possibly shot me, I didn't find the situation all that funny. Call me a killjoy if you want, but that guy was a fucking headcase. It was at that time I left "The Pit". I was done with the board at that point.

There were a lot of funny times I remember having on the 'Arrow' board with members but two that come to mind from right before the IMDB Boards closed down were the extreme Olicity fans who were threatening us with forks on private messages 'cause Oliver and Felicity weren't together at the beginning of Season 5 of 'Arrow' and they blamed people who weren't fans of Olicity for it and a guy who was writing what appeared to be rap songs on the board and said he was a bad ass homie that ate McDonalds.

I knew her from the Titanic board, small world. I was like her arch enemy, eg I made this big FAQ thread for Titanic that she would report and have deleted to spite me, which probably lead to IMDb having a FAQ section. I remember after she got busted she released her password so I took her account and started trolling with it. Good times.

Music Board
Someone claimed a particular track (I can't remember the name) was on The Stooges album Raw Power, it clearly wasn't and most of the board preceded to inform the poster of this, but he stuck to his guns. The thread went on for pages with about 5 or 6 posters taking turns to try and get to the bottom of the OPs delusion. It was eventually revealed he was referring to some obscure bootleg that happened to also be titled Raw Power. It doesn't sound that amusing, you'd need to read the whole thread.
