Extremely shitty TNF game, I’m not even sure if I will be watching it, does anyone have any thoughts?

Vegas is going to watch this game and say “We changed our minds.”

Vegas is going to watch this game and say “We changed our minds.” But the Raiders have 3 first round draft picks.

The Raiders are clearly the worst team in the league but it's obviously by design. Gruden is just thinking of the draft.

He's definitely playing the long game here which he can afford to do with a 10 year contract. Tank this year draft Bosa #1 in 2019 and tank next year and draft Tua #1 in 2020 and then he'll be looking to compete from 2020 beyond imo.

The Raiders are absolute garbage, they aren’t even trying to compete this season, their defense is beyond awful, they just need to rebuild completely so they can be competitive when they move to Vegas, I think they will be okay in the long run.

The Raiders are what I thought the Bills would be this year. Buffalo are still really bad but at least they’re well-coached and they play hard defensively. The Raiders get worse every week as the players have quickly realized what’s going on. Gruden doesn’t give a damn about any of them; none of the key players going forward have been drafted yet.

Yeah it's really strange. You would have thought they were bringing in a new big name coach because they had pieces in place. Instead Gruden is just blowing the whole thing up and purging everyone. I guess he plans to rebuild in the next few years, but it's an odd plan.

I think this is just Chucky’s ego at work.

I think this is just Chucky’s ego at work. Nobody really thought they did. Pairing Gruden with the best pass rusher in the NFL and a young QB who was showing great potential seemed to be the whole point. Everyone other than Gruden thought they had a pretty solid roster. You're right. Ego took over. He wanted to build his own team from the ground up. Other coaches would have relished the opportunity that he blew up. I'd be surprised if Carr was there much longer.

I think Carr gets traded in the offseason and Gruden signs Fitzmagic to be the 1 year placeholder at QB until he gets the #1 pick in 2020 and drafts Tua.
