Interesting. I like Ewan. Fun fact: He and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who will portray Huntress, are dating. If they haven't already broken up. Which would be awkward. They met when they did season three of Fargo together. I wonder if he got the job through her somehow?

Well, certainly wouldn't have been my first choice. There was rumors, announcement that Sharlto Copley was approached by DC and he was a contender for Black Mask. Now that would have been awesome!

It will be interesting to see what they do with Black Mask and how sadistic they make him. In the comic books there were various versions of the character over the years but out of the two most distinct one had the mask burned onto his face and couldn't take it off after an encounter with Batman which caused him to despise Batman more and the other had an Ebony mask that gave him the power to control people's minds and get people to do things for him. I think they should go with a combination of both 'cause the mind control makes him stand apart from other villains and the mask burned onto his skull makes him less human and scarier. With the R rating they shouldn't have any problem having him cut the faces of people off he hates the most and hang them up on and melt people into skeletons with acid.
