Dario Argento's Suspiria  Kay Walsh as a totally over-the-top coven mistress in The Witches  The enchanting Isabella Rossellini in Death Becomes Her  Julian Sands in Warlock, who needs the fat of an unbaptized male child to make flying potion  Lisbeth Movin in Day of Wrath (is she or isn't she? lol)  Ruth Gordon and Sidney Blackmer as the stylin' Minnie & Roman Castevet (that outfit, the jewelry, and especially that hat remind me of my grandmother lol)  |

Offhand: Dorothy Neuman, in at least a couple of films courtesy of Roger Corman. The titles are, as I recall, The Unearthly and The Terror. She had a lot of competition in both films, from Mel Welles to Boris Karloff, among others.

Has anyone here seen the movie Black Death (2010)? An awesome movie that is set around the time of the first outbreak of bubonic plague in England. It has some historical inaccuracy but the movie is brilliant all the same. Great performance by Eddie Redmayne. And an intelligent depiction of horrors of Witchcraft in those times.   |

Kladivo na carodejnice aka The Witch Hunt , Witchhammer (1969) Spellbinding Czechoslovakian dramatical horror film directed by Otakar Vávra. The dark symbolic film, is based on Václav Kaplický’s book Kladivo na čarodějnice (1963), a novel about witch trials in Northern Moravia during the 1670s. The graphic film is a disturbing account of real historical events, an allegory, warning against an unchecked society and remains a potent reminder for society today...
