It was not good....
Interesting note: It lived because the Nicolas Cage Superman Lives died..... and took Brainiac's giant spider.

Who remembers this piece of shit? I only watched bits here and there out of curiosity on TV. Never sought it out to watch from beginning to end. TV show is better and sometimes that's how it goes. Plus I am so sick of them taking the main white character and making him or her black and not the other way around just to be fucking PC.

Extraordinary example of having too much money. But I got a fondness for the steampunk elements. No real reason for the giant tarantula other than Jon Peters' spider fetish but glad we got it.

I also remember Kenneth Branagh, for some reason (hopefully it was just money), participating in this movie as an over-the-top cripple villain.

I remember it, unfortunately. Did love the Will Smith song, though.

I thought it was slightly better than Cowboys vs Aliens by having a unique art design with the steampunk astetics.
Both trashy movies but not necessarily terrible ones as they bring in a new angle into genre fare.
Would have to rewatch them, but I don't plan to.

Its far from a great movie, its not even an average movie. But its far from the worst movie i have seen.
Anyway Salma Hayek was hot in it.

Wild Wild West (1999). Who remembers this piece of shit? I'm a fan of the original TV series, which I own in its entirety on DVD. I remember that the trailers for this "adaptation" looked horrible. I remember avoiding this film like the plague when it was in theaters. I remember not being surprised when it went on to "win" numerous Razzie awards. To this day, I have yet to see it.
