Anyone who likes horse racing is supporting animal abuse. Animals shouldn’t be abused for the entertainment of humans. Thank you X. I totally agree with you! Even though I also hate horse racing the UK treats them a hell of a lot better than here in the USA. I dunno if you get HBO but the excellent investigative reporting sports series "Real Sports" did a great piece on this showing why everyone should be against horse racing. Especially in America where they drug them like crazy and MAKE these animal slaves run even if slightly injured where they may get more seriously injured and then killed. It is an abusive animal cruel "sport" that needs to end around the world. That even goes for where they make them jump. Sports should only be called sports of those who make the efforts themselves and by choice without being forced and without any abuse.

My run so far > Girls Know Best - Nowhere Roadster - Second (if I had known it was a four horse race I would have left it alone) Nolde - Nowhere Covfefe - Won (just a small wager purely for interest, Brad Cox talked me into it!) Eddie Haskell - Nowhere (actually last ) Omaha Beach - Second Sistercharlie - Third Mitole - Won (what a speedster!) Right, time for a horse meat burger before the build up to the big one  |

Horses are flight animals. They are forced in to a state of fear to trigger their flight instinct. No horse enjoys racing. It is forced on them. Horses are raced so hard their lungs rupture. They often finish races with that pain, and fear, being run to death, choking and drowning in the blood from their ruptured lungs. It's a fucking disgrace...  |

Yes, I have put McKinzie in my accie bets along with Omaha Beach, Mitole and Midnight Bisou. Got a separate wager on Sistercharlie, absolutely no value really but she's yet to lose for me. While I have taken an each way punt on Got Stormy in the mile race. I gave a long look at Owendale but 1 1/4 is a tad too long for him. He's great as 1 1/16 or 1 1/8 but the extra 2 furlongs will do him in but look for him to be among the leaders for at least a mile. Well, I pretty much called that.
