I don't drink/get drunk often. When I do, like most people I'm just more open and confident, generally friendly/happy. Don't think I've ever gotten aggressive or sad.

I never been wasted or even close. those people who drink til they black out or can't remember what happened got a drinking problem (that's got to be a sin when you reach that black out level). I have had a decent buzz going once in a while but that's about it. ill simply back off after a buzz reaches a certain point as I don't really like the feeling (I don't mind a mild buzz but after a certain point ill simply back off on those occasions I drink more than usual) as a drink for taste in general. but as a general guideline... I don't exceed about 3-4 standard 12oz beers in general and usually less (like on a random weekend I don't often exceed two 12oz beers) as hitting the 3-4 range or so usually is at those family gatherings a handful of times a year or so. I noticed eating food can make a big difference to as sometimes ill not have much beef but be noticeably more buzzed than when I have more beer but got food in my stomach etc.
with that said... I noticed I am a little more talkative when I get a little buzz going. I never understood how some people get all violent etc even though it happens to some people.

I guess I would be considered a sober drunk. After tossing down a few, my brother in law has made the comment to me that "no matter how much I see you drink, you never get drunk"
I think that means I can hold my booze...

Idk, I've been lightly drunk and when I am I'm kind of giggly, but I've never been hammered.

You'll make an utter fool of yourself. You'll feel like dying the next day. But you'll learn things about yourself you never knew existed.

Psalm 104:14 He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for people to cultivate— bringing forth food from the earth:
15 wine that gladdens human hearts, oil to make their faces shine, and bread that sustains their hearts.

I can't stand the taste of alcohol enough to get more than one drink down and I grew up with a nasty alcoholic father. I can do without it.

Lol I'm a happy sappy drunk. I'm absolutely sure I'm a better singer and dancer when I'm lit. Ready to hear people unloading their problems and give them a big ole hug. And waaaaayyyyy overgenerous, I'll get my credit card statement and say, oh wow, did I really buy all that?

the best kind - no drunk. but I always imagined I would be the overly cheerful drunk telling everybody i love them, showing my boobs/ propositioning people, and instigating group hugs/orgies/baking sessions.but who knows... maybe i would be the silent or aggresive one. i am completely ok never finding out though... Just as well you don't drink Nora, you would be way too much to handle.

My father got into these black and unpleasant moods due to his drinking, which he is still in denial about.
The first time I got drunk, I was 18. I became a jerk and showcased my immaturity.
I was never a big fan of beer or wine, but did drink alcohol for the next 22yrs socially and alone sometimes and began to enjoy wine and beer more into my 30's. Never a huge drinker, but occasionally I would drink more than I needed. I got sick once just prior to giving up 10yrs ago and embarrassed myself. I suppose that was a good sign, plus if one is having anger issues as well, booze doesn't help either.
I haven't regretted giving up, it wasn't difficult and what does piss me off, is when people feel that I can't enjoy myself or have a good time because I won't drink.

Equal parts happy/sloppy. Though I rarely drink anymore. It's not fun like it used to be and I cannot deal with the hangovers (and the guilt that comes with them). And except for Bailey's Irish Cream, I don't even like the taste of alcohol.

My point though was that people should at least experience some inebriation or even complete drunkenness at least once. I've quit too. But I don't regret the times, both good and bad, I had when I was using drugs and drinking.

I have been stoned many times too, which I enjoyed more than drinking booze, but the last time was about 23yrs ago. It is all experience, but it is not necessary to have the experience, if one is wise to the detrimental affects due to someone else's experience. kls was taking a sensible approach and while it may be judged by others, I don't really see any reason to ridicule her for it.

And except for Bailey's Irish Cream, I don't even like the taste of alcohol. That is just a little cap and one that is a treat. I have chosen to not go anywhere near it pronto, but if I was too, I would likely only make it Guinness.
