I hope you are correct. I live in Louisiana. And I am a LSU fan. But even though Alabama's schedule is so pathetically easy every year until LSU, they are still a good team. |

live down there eh? looks like a sweet atmosphere. would love to go to an LSU game one day and go to Mardi Gras. movieliker eh? may be off on the state but to me these always gave off a Louisiana 'Vibe' The Gift with Katie Holmes, Greg Kinnear, Cate Blanchett, Hilary Swank, Keanu Reeves and the Hatchet Horror series......... in all 4 major pro sports and college football and college basketball too - I just can't stand 'Bama. just so bored with this 4 game playoff and am hoping LSU kicks the living crap out of them tonight |

Philly. it's on the bucket list. been to cali 5 times, florida twice, Massachusetts for work, and frequent NJ and DE a lot and am always in MD too since they're rather 'local' - but have never been down in the deep south. that vibe down there always intrigued me. I love horror movies/southern atmosphere - i.e. the supernatural voodoo stuff I always found fascinating and for some reason I relate New Orleans to that. I love good food too - and I'm betting Louisiana has some decent meals to discover - I.E hot spicy Cajun food....... |

Yes, we have lots of good food down here. Although I have never been, tourist tell me there are horror movie and haunted history tours down here (that they rave about). Unless hot weather doesn't bother you, Fall, Winter and Spring are mild weather times for us --- 40s and 60s. Summer is hot --- 80s and 90s !!! And high humidity. |

But other parts of Louisiana --- especially northern Louisiana --- are especially religious and ultra conservative. We often complain down here that those "northerners" are holding the state back. But no, it is not legal in Louisiana. BUT --- IT IS LEGAL NEXT DOOR IN MISSISSIPPI !!! Which is only one hour from New Orleans by car. |
