It's within my Top 22 movies straight up.
the 2nd movie is overrated and the 3rd movie is underrated. I rank the series like this...
1)T1 - 9/10 (within my Top 22 movies)
2)T3 - 8/10 (within my Top 52 movies)
3)T5 - 6-6.5/10 (within my Top 233 movies)
4)T2 - 6/10 (a mild Thumbs Up)
5)T4 - 5/10 (Thumbs Down) (the clear weak link of the series)
NOTE: I used to be a big fan of the 2nd movie until a re-watch on July 3rd 2016. basically my most recent re-watches of T1/T2/T3/T5 are July 3rd-5th of 2016. so my rating should be pretty accurate unless something happens to change in the future.
but anyways... I think some of the reason T2 don't work for me as well as it used to is Edward Furlong etc and the overall tone of the movie changed a bit too much from the first one etc. I think the best thing about T2 is Linda Hamilton basically. I expect T6 to be better than T4 at the minimum as I figure that's got a decent chance for a 6/10.
