Back in the days of old IMDb, I wondered if any famous actors were on there, just lurking to see what the fans were thinking. But this forum is so much smaller, and not as specific as the old board, so I'm thinking, not. Though it is interesting to speculate.

I remember on the board of one host of a tv show (I forget who) the host's "brother" would post. I always assumed the "brother" was him.
I live in Los Angeles/Hollywood and know many people lower down on the ladder of the film industry. IMDb was a major resource for them. I have no doubt that industry people checked the site. This is one reason I think IMDb made a mistake eliminating the boards. They did have enormous influence on the industry.
But back to the question, I have no doubt that thousands of actors, especially the no-so-famous ones, checked their boards weekly if not daily. |
