Kathleen is the whole movie, so I love it, being a big fan of hers. She got her only ever Oscar nom for this.
Cage is weird here, but I love him too, so no complaints.

It it wasn't for Turner in the lead, I can't imagine anyone else making it work as the rest of the film lets her talent down. It did ok box office and people would have gone to see it for her and while entertained, I'd bet most of them would have come away feeling a tad short-changed. |
