Belongs in the short list of the best rock albums ever.
Thoughts?

"First of all Rat, you never let on how much you like a girl. "Oh, Debbie. Hi." Two, you always call the shots. "Kiss me. You won't regret it." Now three, act like wherever you are, that's the place to be. "Isn't this great?" Four, when ordering food, you find out what she wants, then order for the both of you. It's a classy move. "Now, the lady will have the linguini and white clam sauce, and a Coke with no ice." And five, now this is the most important, Rat. When it comes down to making out, whenever possible, put on side one of Led Zeppelin IV"
Rat then proceeds to play "Kashmir" from Physical Graffiti. Never was sure if that was an intentional error to show Rat's lack of music knowledge or the director screwed up.
But back to your question, definitely belongs in a short list for best rock albums. When the Levee Breaks sounded awesome in my old '69 Buick Skylark with 2x4" speakers up front and two 6x9s in the rear through a Toshiba cassette player and a small amp. haha. The high school girls dug it.

The high school girls dug it. I always took it to mean Rat couldn't get IV, so he figured any LZ will do. Later I read that Heckerling wasn't able to get permission to use a song from IV, but they could get Kashmir. Apparently LZ was very protective of IV.
Anyway, sage advice from Damon.

That was my first LZ album. I eventually got burned out on Stairway, but I still love the other songs.

A slight improvement over their previous crass work, but still dull and shallow. As a rule of thumb, I never take any Led Zeppelin music fan who claims to be knowledgeable about music seriously.

Apparently he didn't learn his lesson the first time, directed a scene in Almost Famous where the characters listen to all 7 minutes of Stairway To Heaven, and had to cut it because LZ wouldn't let him use it. But yeah, I think the scene is funnier in the end. Not only is it the wrong album, but Kashmir is like the anti-makeout song.

I typed Crowe, but I meant Heckerling. I tend to think of Fast Times as Crowe's debut as a director.

Best band of all time and it’s not even close.

Meh, I liked Houses of the Holy, Physcial Graffiti, and Presence considerably more. As far as 1970s British hard rock in general goes, I prefer Black Sabbath

Not the best Zeppelin album, but When The Levee Breaks is easily my favorite Zep song.
