Everything will be OK.
Breathe. Slowly......
This is fine..........
(he also just stated they're under .500 so I'm taking this with a grain of salt)

It makes sense, they're both pretty unlikeable.

It makes sense, they're both pretty unlikeable. I can actually see that from somebody that doesn't live here. If they played for another team I wouldn't like them either. Embiid is a giant troll and Simmons comes off as a smug prick who thinks his sh*t doesn't stink But they're 'My' troll and prick - so I love em

I got no time for anyone who fucks around with a Kardashian. Simmons can join the LeBrons and become the next Kanye. Embiid can stay.

I have never gotten this impression and Cowherd has never gotten anything right about anything.

I have never gotten this impression and Cowherd has never gotten anything right about anything. I get it's early and may be way too soon to pull the plug - I said 'Christmas' before... but what do you think about Fultz coming off the bench as a PG and being the facilitator and running with Redick as his shooter (rumor has it Kyle Korver can be had for cheap now too) - i.e. let Fultz run the 2nd unit with shooters around him (too bad Ily and Beli aren't there anymore) you in turn stick Shamet in the lineup next to Simmons I really like this kid - he can shoot and has confidence - pretty much what they drafted Fultz for. he pops a 3 with no hesitation. Fultz seems better with the ball in his hands as a traditional PG - but that's Simmons role. maybe it's time to split them up soon. I don't think Fultz is a 'bust' - he's just not that 'guy' they thought they drafted - i.e. a combo guard than can shoot lights out (who he was at Washington)

He does look much better with the ball in his hands, but to what end? He is only 20, granted, but I think he could make good trade bait. Still, our starting lineup should be Simmons, JJ, RoCo, Saric, and Embiid. Then Fultz can run the second unit with Shamet, Mikey M, and the crew.

It moves Dario to the bench where I think he'd thrive also. 1st Unit: Simmons Shamet Cov Love Embiid 2nd Unit: Fultz Redick Dario zhaire/chandler/muscala/all dependent upon matchups It's early - but I think they need to do something at the deadline - i.e, dangle that Miami 2021 #1 pick the 2021 pick isn't likely to get Love - But if you're willing to eat that salary and them that #1 and throw in a Zhaire/additional asset it may be doable.

Just pointing out that Jayson Tatum is 2 months younger than Fultz. I wanted '0' part of Tatum. He wasn't what the Sixers needed at the time - they needed a gunner to run next to Simmons - Fultz was the #1 pick by the vast majority of so called experts - I drooled over the thought of it and didn't mind one bit they gave up an additional asset. I don't think anybody saw this coming with Tatum (or Fultz for that matter) - he wasn't even an elite shooter at Duke. You compare the two and it's night and day - not even the play - but their mannerisms - Tatum is a 'man' - Fultz is a coddled ........

I was referring more to the maturity level vs. positional fits with the Sixers.

I always find it hilarious that people give the Sixers so much crap now for that Tatum trade. Hindsight is always 20/20. At the time, Fultz was pretty much the unanimous first pick and everyone said the Sixers made the smart move. Fultz, on paper at least, was exactly what the Sixers needed. I just feel he lacks maturity and is allergic to defense right now. I want him to work out. I really do, but he seems to be a player that needs the ball in his hands and looks like crap off the ball. I say trade him, our Miami first round pick, and maybe one other player for someone like Butler. Sure, I know Butler comes with his own set of issues, but he is exactly what Simmons and Embiid need right now. I do not want Love. He is hurt every other week and is far past his prime at this point.

Drew Hanlen is a top notch shooting guru (worked with Tatum) and worked with Fultz over the offseason. Somebody just called Hanlen out on Twitter for essentially being a fraud and to man up stating he was wrong about Fultz. Hanlen responded to the 'Tweeter' stating Fultz still isn't 100%. Fultz and Brown just came out and stated this wasn't the case - that he is in fact healthy now. Just find it mind boggling that he's nothing like they player the drafted out of Washington. Call it the yips, losing your confidence, whatever - you were basically given a free year to get it all back and be your old 'self'. To me he's a backup PG in the league right now.

Butler wants to be the man. We don't need that - we need that special complimentary piece to go along with Embiid/Simmons who isn't going to stir the pot and is fine with being 3rd banana and not the star.

For the Sixers to compete for a championship, they need another star. Butler can be that guy. Looking at the free agent landscape next offseason, there is a good chance that the Sixers may not get anyone. Almost all the free agents seem to be going elsewhere. Thompson will stay with Golden State and he is who they need more than anyone. Bring Butler in and they can compete this season.

I drool over the thought of Simmons dropping dimes to Klay on the perimeter - throw the moon, stars and liberty bell to him. here's an interesting thought that I've never seen discussed and may be 'off the wall'. but KD has acted 'off the wall' over the last few years. why not Philly for KD? he slots in at SF perfectly and has had some 'friendly' jabs with Embiid in the media. why not be that 'Alpha' and 'Dog' which LeBron didn't want to be (funny - Steve Harvey was on Stephen A. Smith's show yesterday and stated the same thing I was chirping for years - if Lebron wanted to be that Alpha and Dog he would have went to Philly where it was all set up for a dominant run instead of going Hollywood and playing in Kareems, Magics, Wilts, Kobes, Shaqs shadows......it was a punk move same thing applies to KD he comes here - it's 3 straight titles.
